The Goal
She Sails Match Racing TeamTeam She Sails is basically a group of 'chicks who dig sailing'. It’s an all-female team in a ‘men’s world’, racing mainly in the open match racing circuit. The team started December 2012 as a match racing team because that's just the best there is: excitement of only 15 minutes to play for; the all-or-nothing game and intensive crew work which will make or break your performance.
It took a while to get a team together where everyone is 100% committed to the team and has the drive to build as a team through this campaign. After the World Championships in 2014, Rikst Dijkstra took over the helm, and since then we’ve already made a lot of progress and made it to place 20 on the Women’s World Ranking (November 2014).
We’re looking forward to the next season and beyond! Are you joining us?

Rikst Dijkstra26 years old, Architect/Engineer
Rikst started racing in the youth squads in dinghy classes as many sailors and switched to keel boats and yachts during university. As a J22 and Farr 30 helm and X-35 and Melges 24 successful tactician, she's a helm not to under estimate!

Let’s build this campaign together! With the Worlds as the major event in 2015
Let’s talk trough the possibilities over coffee as there’s no such thing as a standard package for sponsorship. We both want to achieve our goals, don’t we?
