In order to the meet the demand of the global textile industry, Muratec has developed the latest innovation for winding. The Direct-Package-Drive with Active-Arm-Traverse mechanism, allows winding using a fully-flexible control system allowing high speed, high precision and less energy consumption. ‘Process Coner Ⅱ FPRO’ uses state of art technology to produce high quality pattern-free yarn packages.At INDIA ITME2012, a demonstration of high-speed winding of low density packages (superior for high-speed takeoff), using optimized traverse and tension control, will be shown.

1) PC module:A PC module, incorporating the PC Bal-Con (Balloon Controller), PC Tensor and PC Sensor, optimizes yarn tension from the bobbin to the yarn package. Maintaining just the right amount of tension throughout the winding process, the PC module yields superior quality packages at high productivity.

2) VOS-Ⅲ (Visual-on-Demand System):Operability and functionality are improved with a larger, easy-to-see 15-inch Touch screen monitor. VOS-Ⅲ analyzes and displays factors that lead to reduced mechanical efficiency.

3) Maintainability:The device-independent structure, designed with dust-proofing in mind, reduces both the frequency of maintenance and maintenance time.

4) VCF (Vertical Conveyor Feeding):VCF is a manpower saving system compatible with bobbins in the hand feed spinning machine and has at least a 75% labor savings compared to the magazine type. VCF simplifies bobbin feeding and requires less space than the bobbin tray system.

Muratec participated in Expofil held in Paris, France from September 19th to 21st, 2012. This exhibition has a huge impact on the apparel and fashion industry as a “source for trends,” and it is the fifth time Muratec has participated. Participants exceeded last year, with 1,867 companies from around the world, and 60,716 visitors from related industries attending.

This year, a heightened awareness and knowledge of VORTEX was evident from the visitors to our booth. The number of leads to develop products employing Melange yarn, 100% cotton, or 100% polyester material has increased. As for 100% polyester VORTEX yarn, we received many more inquiries and had many more discussions, including talks with a major apparel maker about

sportswear. In the European market which is a source for trends, an awareness of differentiation has been raised. Interest and demand for VORTEX’s lower-hairiness yarn features and easy-to-wear comfort are increasing.

Great Expectations for VORTEX Polyester Spinning-EXPOFIL

VORTEX interest and demand grows in China-The 9th New Fiber and Yarn Trade Fair

On September 19th and 20th of this year, Muratec participated in the 9th New Fiber and Yarn Trade Fair held in Zhejiang Province, China. This event was sponsored by China Yarn which operates the largest Web site in China, posting fiber (material/yarn) related information. The Yarn Trade Fair is popular with prominent apparel companies in China. A total of 150 companies, mainly spinning companies from China, participated. This exceeded the number of companies from the previous event. 4,000 visitors from related industries also attended.

At this fair, our booth was combined with another booth for 13 companies including our users of VORTEX spinning machines. In order to expand the business of VORTEX users, booth visitors were introduced to the VORTEX yarn advantages of lower- hairiness clear fabric appearance and washing resistance.From VORTEX users, there were voices

raised such as “we had a look at CFY (Core Filament Yarn) fabric samples employing VORTEX yarn at the other booth and would like to try to make that type of fabric,” and “how about compatibility between raised fabric fleece and VORTEX yarn". A heightened sense of excitement about product development employing VORTEX yarn was evident. Muratec will continue to actively support VORTEX partners.
