I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way I’ve found that peace at the close of day. I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m freeI’m following the path God laid for me.I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another dayTo laugh, to love, to work or play

Tasks left undone must stay that wayI’ve found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a voidThen fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrowI wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.My life’s been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too briefDon’t lengthen it now with undue grief.Lift up your heart and share with me;God wanted me now; He set me free.

In Loving Memory of

Shari Lee EvansOctober 19, 1939 ~ November 3, 2016

God saw that she was getting tired,And cure was not to be;

So He put His arms around her,And whispered, ‘’Come with Me.’’

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer,And saw her fade away.

Although we loved her dearly,We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,Hard working hands to rest;

God broke our hearts to prove to us,He only takes the best!
