Shamanic Paths: Recovering the

Sacred in the Contemporary

The 4 Winds workshop series consists of two times 4 workshops (Introduction

and Deepening) about the Path of the Shaman and the recovery of the sacred

in our contemporary world. These workshops are integrative experiences – in

which you will have the chance to explore experientially the Shamanic

Worldview and its connections with emerging Holistic Western Paradigms.

Ceremonial circles open sacred spaces to discover, resonate, comprehend, heal,

share and celebrate, through the synergy of the embodied word, the archetypal

meaning of ancestral symbols, the beating sound of the drum, the subtle flow with

medicine-music, body-movement and active imagination.

Ana Maria Llamazares is an anthropologist and epistemologist

specialized in the study of shamanic and visionary art - mainly

from Pre-Hispanic America- and the evolution of consciousness.

She conducted research on new paradigms and holistic thought,

its correlation with indigenous worldviews, shamanism, the

ritual use of psychoactive plants and archetypal symbolism.

She has published many scientific, academic and journalistic

articles and (co)-authored books on cultural change and the cosmology of the

indigenous people of South-America.

Serie 1 Introduction: November 14th, 21st, December 5th and 12th,

Serie 2 Deepening: January 9th, 23th, February 6th and 20th

Location: Gandhituin, Rotterdam. Workshop times 10 am- 4 pm. Coffee and tea are

provided for. Costs: €185 for a series of 4 workshops and €50 for a single workshop.
