Now in its ninth year, the Chamber Music Festival of the Bluegrass is a Central Kentucky cultural destination. Long before the trendy farm-to-fork movement took off, the Shakers spent their days tending thousands of acres of vegetables, fruits and livestock, then preparing wholesome feasts for nearly 500 community members. Today, The Farm grows seasonal produce for The Trustees’ Table, just steps from the garden gate. Visit The Farm and discover organic gardening tips, four-legged friends and barnyard adventures for the entire family.

Sheep ShearingAPRIL 4–25 Visit the farm and see us shear our flock of sheep, then learn how the Shakers created colorful wool shawls and other textiles through spinning and weaving demonstrations.

Breakfast with the BabiesAPRIL 4, 11, 18 + 25 Enjoy a kid-friendly buffet breakfast, then get a hands-on introduction to the newest additions to our farm family, including lambs, kids, chicks and more. Times vary, $10-20
