She headed to Los Angeles to pursue her dream and now has movies, sev- eral guest star appearances, numerous commercials, and producing documentaries & reality shows under her belt. Sweetie Sherrié has also graced the pages of several top publications and landing roles in national commercials, such as, Honda, TMobile, Oil of Olay, and recently shot a Bud Light Super Bowl commercial. Just wrapped on a film with Percy Miller and Tony Cox, where she plays one of her most challenging roles; a drug addict. Due out this FALL. Five Da General, a product of New York, a natural leader and standout was always a kid that faced adversity and obstacles to living what mainstream America would consider a “normal” life, if there is such a thing these days. FIVE Da General is what you would call the total package in life as it relates to music. Standing 6 feet two inches tall with green eyes and a superstar presence, his music appeals to the ladies and the mainstream, as well as the streets and the underground alike. And with the five years of prison behind him, he is ready to embark on a new positive journey. Armed with real life experiences and not second hand tales, he has a real story and relates a story that demonstrates the fact that he has lived. He has star power and is one of the NICEST EMCEES (not rappers) lyric for lyric that you’ve ever heard. To FIVE Da General life translates to music and the music provides a means to transform his life. From an early age, FIVE Da General saw how life’s ills took its toll on the ones closest to him. From the heroine addiction his father was plagued with growing up, to his constant run-ins with neighborhood foes as well as the police, he learned how to speak his mind and protect his space from an early age. What you get from FIVE Da General is the core realism of a life told in the form of the underdog who personifies being blessed and cursed at the same time. With a commanding presence that immediately attracts your attention and a distinctive sound that differentiates him from being comparable to some of today’s supposed competition, there’s no questioning why Tight has the underground and southern markets on lock. Having already serviced the south with a number of hits that are still receiv- ing steady radio spins, approval from the streets, and have resulted in coveted headlining club performances, Atlanta’s own Tight is grinding a lot harder than most major artist. Seated in the A room of Tight Sound Studios, you’ll find the Addicted to Money Records’ CEO and lead artist, busy at work on his next hit. With his first few singles “You Aint Fresh” and “Dump That,” becoming anthems for the clubs and the streets, his much anticipated follow up single “All Night” ft. Shawty Lo does nothing but secure Tight’s position as a hit making artist. Inspired by Hip-Hop Pioneers UGK, 2Pac, LL Cool J, and Eightball, he is an artist with more than just great music to give. The Gospel Power house Malaco Records has expanded their recorded label to now encompass an Urban division. As they expand into this genre of music they have singled out various artists to be the face and the foundation of their new division. One of the more recognizable talents signed to this new division of Malaco Records is Atlanta’s very own Brandy Hambrick also by her stage name Ms. B’Havin. We grew up together. We got a bond like brothers.” Both 24 years old, Spanky (Gerald Wallace) and Solo (Chris Watkins) first became acquainted at age 10. They initially met in the Atlanta suburb of Austell in the Baby Land community. Although they mutually had a deep love for music, they took different paths to their destination. Spanky knew from an early age that he wanted a career in rap music. Since middle school, he had been piecing together studio equipment and recording. He honed his skills rapping at clubs and performing at local talent shows. Solo, on the other hand, was making a name for himself freestyling and performing for neighborhood friends. He didn’t take the music seriously until he wound up in youth detention center for running with the wrong crowd. “All I had was those four walls.
