About the Institution:
K.Ramakrishnan college of
Engineering, Tiruchirappalli situated in the
famous temple town Samayapuram,was
established by Dr.K.Ramakrishnan, Chairman
who aims to provide value based education
along with high level of discipline in the year
2008-2009. It is a premiere organization
striving to bring in constructive transformation
in young aspirants by imparting technical,
behavioral and value based education where
focus on empowering the students to get placed
in World Class Corporate and also augment
the knowledge of students, foster their talents
and broaden their outlook towards life by
enhancing their personality, communication
and bringing in entrepreneurial skills. The
institute has been approved by NAAC with ‘A’
Grade and affiliated to Anna University
Chennai.

environment and Wi-Fi campus.
About the Department:
Electronics and communication
Engineering has penetrated every walk of
today’s lifestyle from smart home appliances to
mobile phones, from computers to security
devices, from biometric attendance to remote
controlled doors and so on. The main vision of
the department is to enrich tomorrow’s
technocrats by imbibing the essence of human
values for innovation and creativity in
communication and technology towards
building a peaceful self-sustaining nation.
Further, it aims to set standards in teaching and
learning incessantly for making a bright career
path for the students. The department offers Post Graduation in
Masters of Engineering communication Systems
with well qualified and dedicated faculty
members. Our department has produced
number of University Ranks from its inception.
The department has R&D center approved by
Anna University, Chennai.
About the Course: The objective of the FDTP on “Adhoc and
Sensor Networks “is to provide an excellent
opportunity for young faculty members to
interact with senior expert academicians. To
enrich their knowledge in the subject and
familiarize them with effective teaching
learning practices.
This program aims at covering all the
topics of the subject CS6003-Adhoc and Sensor
Networks. The following topics will be covered
in detail:
• All details pertaining to Adhoc and
Sensor network’s architecture and
design issues.
• Types of MAC protocols in Adhoc
Networks.
• Different types of routing protocols in
Adhoc networks.
• TCP issues in Adhoc networks.
• Architecture and Protocols of wireless
Sensor networks.
About Registration
• Number of seats restricted to 25 only
• No Registration fees.
• No TA/DA will be paid.
• Selection on first come first serve basis
• Preference will be given to the young
faculty based on the eligibility criteria
• Selected candidates will be intimated by
e-mail only
• No accommodation will be provided.
