Are we saved?

Ephesians 2:8, 9

For by grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should

boast.

faith in Jesus gives us our title to heaven and as

this faith works in us, we are

fitted for heaven.

Two Choices

To teach that our title (faith in Jesus) make us fit for heaven (righteousness) is salvation by faith.

But to teach that our fitness for heaven (righteousness) gives us the title for heaven would be salvation by works.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
