JOINTMASTER’s - the range of cable termination systems are manufactured by REPL International Group.

JOINTMASTER offers a comprehensive range of medium and high voltage cable terminations aimed at the local and export markets.

These terminations have been independently tested in the KEMA laboratory to the requirements of CENELEC HD629.1 S2

A wide range of complimentary accessories such as cold applied and push-on bushing insulating boots are available for use with the terminations.

The terminations cater for all cable types including PILC and XLPE for both indoor and outdoor applications in all size ranges and voltages up to 36kV

This is an industry first, from REPL-JOINTMASTER allowing for the installation of only one heat shrink tube over the connectors for MV cable joints up to 12kV.

This system allows for faster installation time and the simpler installation eliminates the possibility of partial discharge at the interface of multiple layers of heat shrink tubes as a result of incorrect installation or heat application, ensuring a safe and completely secure joint.

The system has been independently type tested by KEMA, to CENELEC HD629.1 S2, certificate number TIC1596-13 (copy of test report available upon request)

REPL-Jointmaster Corrosion Protection heat shrinkable Heavy Wall tubing (RIHT AND rimt), provide environmental sealing of plastic and paper insulated cable terminations and straight through joints up to 36kV.The tubing is manufactured from thermally stabilised, cross linked, non tracking, weather resistant polymeric material and have a shrink ratio of >3:1. With an unlimited shelf life when stored at normal warehouse temperatures.The tubing can be supplied, with or without internally coated hot melt adhesive depending upon the application.
