Mr. Sun Goes On A Holiday
Lesson 6
Mr. Sun was bright and yellow. He helpedthe sparrow, the
squirrel, the honey beeand the water.
But one day he took a holiday and stopped
shining. It became dark. There was no light.
Why is it so dark?How will i go upinto the sky andbecome
rain?
How will I find
flowers in the dark ?
Mr. Sun cannot takea holiday. We needhim.
Everyone was happy. Everyone needs the bright, yellow sun.
Animals need the sun.
Plants need the sun. Water needs the sun to go up and become
rain. We all need the sun.
The sparrow on the treesaid:
The honey bee said: The squirrel said:
Mr. Sun felt very sad. He said, I am really sorry. I will not
take a holiday. I will shine again.

Unity Is Strength
Lesson 7
Balu, the bull, liked to graze all alone.
The other bulls grazed far away.
Shera, the tiger saw Balu. He wanted
to attack Balu and eat him up.
All the bulls joined together and
rushed towards Shera. They pointedtheir horns towards Shera.
They were
very angry.
Balu saw Shera and got very scared.
He ran as fast as he could and joined
his friends.
Shera saw all the bulls and was afraid. He ran away into the
forest.
When the bulls were together they were very strong
