Tips for Increasing Stress Tolerance

• Stop before shutdown/ meltdown• Chunk stress inducing activities• Provide a lot of praise for what is accomplished (even if it is

well short of your goal or expectation)• Provide regulating opportunities often• Stay calm and supportive
