Line 2 East Extension
• Construction of 4.19 km of
rail from Santolan terminal station to Masinag, Antipolo
• Project Cost: Php 9.76 B • Includes construction of 3
intermodal facilities and 1 satellite depot
• Will serve an additional 120,000 riders daily
MRT 3 Capacity Expansion
• Addition of 52 coaches in two Phases to increase system capacity and reduce problems related to overcrowding at stations
• Project Cost: Php 4.50 B (Phase 1)
Railways
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PNR Integrated Luzon Railway • Modernization and
rehabilitation of PNR system from San Fernando, La Union to Metro Manila, and from Metro Manila to Legaspi, Albay.
• A feasibility study will be conducted to examine the project from a freight/cargo perspective.
Automatic Fare Collection System
• Replacement of current magnetic stripe ticketing system on LRT 1, LRT 2, MRT 3 with a contactless AFCS
• Project Cost: Php 1.7 B • Expected to be in the
pockets of 1 million passengers
Establishment of New Railway System MRT 7 • Construction and operation of a
22 km MRT system connecting Trinoma along EDSA and North Avenue to San Jose, Bulacan
• Project Cost: Php 66.5 B (Phase 1)
• Project includes road segment to north of Manila

• Current Provincial Bus Traffic: 7,800
3. Cebu BRT • Establishment of the first
BRT system in the Philippines.
• 23-km demonstration corridor in Cebu City, with 33 stations
• 176 buses that will run through dedicated and exclusive bus-ways from Bulacao to Talamban, with a link to Cebu’s South Road Property
• Bus projected to be available every 2 minutes at every station
• Forecasted traffic: 330,000 passengers daily (2015)

Port Projects Development of Tourism Ports:
• Construction / upgrading / improvement of the following ports to support tourism development under the 2013 budget: Azagra fedder port in Romblon, Vinzons and Mercedes ports in Camarines Norte, Sabang and San Vicente ports in Camarines Sur, Pilar port in Sorsogon, Cagban Jetty port in Aklan, Sta Fe Port in Cebu and Ormoc port in Leyte.
• Proposed construction / upgrading / improvement of the following tourism
destination ports under the proposed 2014 budget: Ivana port in Batanes, Tingloy port in Batangas, Sta Fe in Romblon, Quezon, Diura in Batan island, San Vicente in Batanes, Uyugan Batanes, Itbud in Batanes, Duvek Bay in Batanes, Estancia in Iloilo, Tanjay in Negros Oriental, Duero in Bohol, Pangangan in Bohol , Lawigan in Camuigin, San Vicente Pajo in Oroquieta City and Jose Abad Santos port in Davao del Sur,
Development of Tourism Ports:
• PPA tourism ports, such as: Currimao Port in Ilocos Norte, Puerto Princesa Port in Palawan, Bulan port in Sorsogon, Tabaco Port, Masbate Port, Iloilo Commercial Port Complex, Basco port in Batanes, New san Jose Port in Occidental Mindoro and General Santos Port in South Cotabato.
