SESIS IEP Crosswalk
OverviewOverview- SESIS reflects the content and format of the new New York state IEP. New York City has also
provided additional fields of required data.
- Generally, each “page” of the current IEP is replicated as a “section” in SESIS. However, some IEP pages have been combined into a single SESIS section, and some pages have been divided into multiple sections.
- In some cases, individual text fields have been moved from their original locations on a current IEP page to a different section in SESIS. Some fields only display in SESIS based on user input. Some fields are no longer required.
- There is no limitation as to the amount of information one can input into SESIS; consequently, sections in SESIS are not limited to a single physical page.
- Not all information input in SESIS prints on the hardcopy of the IEP. IEP sections print in an order different from the current DOE IEP.
