2013/1434 Hajj Campaign
Hajj & Pakistani Pilgrims
• Hajj is a life time experience and challenging worship
• Majority of Pakistani Hajis are;
– Semi-literate or illiterate– Old and not in best health condition– Speak only their native language
• Thousands get disoriented in Makkah and Mashaair
Unique Opportunity• Serving Hujjaj is a unique worship to please Allah swt. and it
can only be achieved during the time of Hajj
• There are more than 1.6 BILLION Muslims in the World
• But this chance to serve Allah’s Guests during Hajj is only possible for residents of Saudi Arabia
SO WHY NOT US ?
Most of us do not know if we will be resident of Saudi Arabia next year
Take advantage and VOLUNTEER this year ?
Who is PHVG?• We are a 100% volunteer group• Volunteers from all fields and backgrounds:
businessmen, professionals, doctors, engineers, school teachers, salesmen, hotel
employees, laborers, students, bankers, accountants, and others.
• United for one purpose – to help Hajjis during their Hajj – to earn Allah’s reward (ajr & sawab)
• Organized by a Core Team of dedicated volunteers working in their free time

Provide support services to Hajj pilgrims
through mobilization of Pakistani volunteers
resident of Saudi Arabia in association with
World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY)
and Pakistan Hajj Mission.

• Each team makes its own limited programs and undertakes the same in the service of the society.
• Linked with Director, WAMY Local Programs
• Registration & Annual Plan submission for approval
• Code of Ethics to be signed

PHVG is a non-political and non-sectarian platform to serve the guests of Allah swt to seek reward from our Lord.
PHVG does not recognize or discriminate volunteers or hujjaj based on their;
Political Islamic Sect, Regional or Ethnic affiliation

Scope of Work• Help old and sick pilgrims by providing physical
assistance & transfer to Medical Health Units / hospitals.
• Help lost Hujjaj in finding their respective camps in Mina.
• Guide Hujjaj to and from camps to Jamarat and return • Help other Hajj services groups and Saudi authorities
to translate instructions to Pakistani pilgrims in native languages.
Target: 1000 Volunteers

Volunteer Selection Criteria
• Pakistani National Male
• Legal resident of Saudi Arabia (Valid Iqama)
• Age 16 years and older
• Good Health Condition
• Already performed compulsory Hajj
Expectations from Volunteers
• WILL NOT PERFORM HAJJ
• Attend 2 training sessions in Sep / Oct• Serve the pilgrims during the period of their
stay in Mina, specifically from 9th to 12th of Dhul Hijja
• Work in 12 hours shift mainly at various outdoor service points
Volunteers to Receive PHVG will provide the following in collaboration with WAMY and Pakistan Hajj Mission:
• Identification card to enter Mina as volunteer from 9th Dhul Hajj after Asr to 12th Dhul Hajj
• Basic Training and required tools such as communication means, maps, information guides, contact list, etc.
• PHVG Jacket and cap as a uniform• Bus Transportation from Jeddah to Mina and back• Economical standard accommodation and food arrangement• Experience certificate
Project Funding• PHVG does not receive any funds from WAMY or Pakistan Hajj
Mission.
• All support is provided by Generous Donors with aim to please Allah.
• Accounts details are governed by respectable community members and can be made available upon request.
