Annually,Veolia transforms over 400million pounds ofwaste into a resource through energy recovery, recycling and product substitution. Environmental BenefitsVeolia’s Energy RecoveryServices help minimize yourenvironmental impact bydisplacing the use of oil, coal orgas in cement kilns with a “green”fuel produced from high BTUorganic hazardous waste. Thisprocess is an environmentallyfriendly alternative to moretraditional disposal methods, such as incineration.

Economic BenefitsEnergy recovery is a cost effectivealternative to incineration. Evenmore savings are created byadding the cost of fuel for thekilns that is being displaced bythe fuel developed from the mixof high BTU waste.
