NARRATIVE REPORT

APRIL TO JUNE 2019

OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to create a better world through education and service in the

realms of human life and environment.

OUR VISSION:

Our vision is to provide new horizons and open avenues to the under privileged

and deprived people of our society to live with dignity and self-respect.

ACTIVITIES OF SEVAI SOCIETY:

The SEVAI SOCIETY is working for the welfare of the poor people by running

Schools, Children Home, Home for the Aged, an undergraduate college and Skill training

centre. We also work for Environmental protection. The donations received from the

funding agencies are used for various projects.

HALLELUAH CHILDREN HOSTEL, MADURAI:

April month started with lot of excitement, In this month all our students finished their

exams on 3rd April. All our students left the hostel for summer holidays. On April 14

th the

12th STD students received the results of the public examination. They obtained high

marks. In the same month on 29th the 10

th STD students received the results of the public

examination; they also secured high marks.

In the month of May our children enjoyed with parents in their home. On 8th May the

11thStd Students received the results of the public examination and they scored high

marks.

After summer vacations the school reopened on 3rd June, 2019 and all the

Children felt happy to begin their new academic year. We had our welcome prayer and

took part in all activities. On the same day we had welcomed our new students to our

home and we made them to take part in all our household activities.

On 10th June, 2019 we conducted outdoor games for small children.

4th to 6th STD Students spent their hours in Reading the books and students from 7 to 9

STD did Gardening work.

Students from 10 to 12 conducted debate. On June 21th

12std T. Pavithra got best

student award.

XAVIER MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, MADURAI

After summer vacations the school reopened on 3rd June, 2019. YOGA, KARATE &

SILAMBAM classes were conducted every week on Wednesday & Friday for the class

L.K.G –XII Std. All Students exhibited various Yogasanas to celebrate International Yoga

Day (June 21, 2019) in our school ground.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2019 in our school ground.

On June 22, 2019 Parents & Teachers Meet was conducted for X, XI, XII Students.

On 28.06.2019 IV & Vth STD students went for Field Trip to Rajaji Park & Gandhi

Museum.

Vaccination Camp was conducted for I STD DPT (Diptheria Perturies Tetanus & Std: V & X – D.T (Diptheria & Tetanus). by Thiruppalai Govt Primary Sanitary Health Care. On 15.07.2019 EDUCATION GROWTH DAY was celebrated as remembrance of Tamil Nadu Former Chief Minister Thiru. Kamarajar’s 117th Birthday in our school premises. Students recited song, speech, poem about the leader Thiru. Kamaraj.

On 17.07.2019 BYJU Debate exam was conducted from Std: V to IX. From 23.07.2018 to

26.07.2018 I –MID TERM Test was conducted for the I STD & VIII. On 26.07.2018 photo

was taken for Identity card from VI STD – XII Students, Teaching & Non-Teaching staff.

BENEDICT MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, THENI

Students were admitted for this Academic year 2019-2020 in various classes on May 6th

2019. On 31.05.2019 DEO visited the campus and fell happy about the infrastructure and

the facilities of the school.

We made admission of kinder garden students under RTE Act. Nearly 30 students (15 in

each section) were admitted on the school reopening day (03.06.2019)

Bubble Ball was introduced to solve the students problems and offence mechanism on

08.06.2019. Small Ball Marking activity has done on 12.06.2019 which made the

students to enhance the student’s attention while they listened to the concept.

On 15.06.2019 our school kids took part at our newly constructed swimming pool. Kids

enjoyed very well in it.

BENEDICT CHILDREN HOSTEL, THENI

Hostel students did creative work by using the Ice Sticks & Pot paintings. This activity

brings out the unique talent of our students.

MARY MATHA PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOL, TRICHY

From 05.04.2019 to 12.04.2019 annual examination was conducted for school students.

On 12.04.2019 bible quiz competition was conducted & prizes were distributed to the

students who won the bible quiz.

From 14.04.2019 to 31.05.2019 admission was ongoing for the Academic year 2019-

2020.

On 10.06.2019 Saron Charitable Trust and Trichy Joseph eye hospital jointly conducted

free eye checkup Camp for school students.

On 21.06.2019 International yoga day was celebrated at school.

WENDALINUM CHILDREN HOSTEL, TRICHY

On 07.04.2019 Kho - Kho game was conducted for hostel students. On 22.06.2019

Running Race was conducted for hostel students. Students enjoyed their weekends &

they are happy to stay here.

MIDDAY MEAL PROGRAM, TRICHY

On 12.04.2019 Pongal and Banana were given to students for midday meal.on

14.06.2019 Meal with Egg was given to all the students. Students are very happy for this

program & parents also feel very happy for this activity.

On 27.06.2019 additionally Egg was given with midday meal to all students.

MOTHER MARY HOME FOR THE AGED, T.SINDALA CHERRY, THENI

There are 22 elderly inmates who are staying and utilizing this home. They are happy to

be here and live in comfort.

MOTHER THERESA SKILL TRAINING CENTRE, T. SINDALAICHERRY, THENI:

There are 13 girls coming for tailoring coaching from nearby villages. They are getting

enough training and more experience from this centre.

ST.MOTHER THERESA INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL, THENI

Student are finished their Inplant training & came back to the Industrial School. Revision

for theory & practical took place in May 2019. On 03.06.2019 practical test of energy

meter was conducted. On 26.06.19 theory Exam was conducted in Government ITI

Theni. On 27.06.19 Practical exam was held in our School campus. On 04.07.19 –

Course Completion Certificate was issued to the students.

Mother Theresa Arts & Science College, T.Sindala Cherry, Theni District

In April we started the Infrastructure work inside the college campus.

We started the road formation using the paver block stone from 26.04.2019 to

30.04.2019

Admission took place for the academic year 2019 -2020. Fr Ignaci Muthu SJ came and

visited the college on 27.05.2019 and a tree sapling was planted by him in front of the

college main building.

In 24.06.2019 all the Students & staff Members came to the college and celebrated the

inauguration function in the conference Hall.
