19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

John 20:19-31

24 Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”26 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

John 20:19-31

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

John 20:19-31

Do this in remembrance of me…

O Love That Will Not Let Me GoOh Love that will not let me go,

I rest my weary soul in Thee;

I give Thee back the life I owe,

that in Thine ocean depths its flow

may richer fuller be.

My life is not my own. it’s Yours.

My life is not my own. It’s Yours.

O light that foll’west all my way,

I yield my flick’ring torch to Thee;

My heart restores its borrowed ray,

that in Thy sunshine’s blaze

its day may brighter fairer be

So light the fire in my heart and I’ll burn for you.

So light the fire in my heart and I’ll burn for you.

O Joy that seeks me through the pain,

I cannot close my heart to Thee.

I trace the rainbow through the rain,

and feel the promise is not in vain –

that morn shall tearless be

So anoint me with joy, and joyful I will be.

So anoint me with joy, and joyful I will be.

O Cross that liftest up my head,

I dare not ask to fly from thee;

I lay in dust life’s glory dead,

and from the ground there blossoms red

life that shall endless be.

We will sing, “Holy, Holy is the King of Kings.”

We will sing, “Holy, Holy is the King of Kings.”

Satisfied in You (Psalm 42)I have lost my appetite

and a flood is welling up behind my eyes

so I eat the tears I cry

And if that were not enough

they know just the words to cut and tear and prod

when they ask me “Where’s your God?”

Why are you downcast, o my soul?

Why so disturbed within me?

I can remember when You turned Your face to me.

As a deer pants for water, so my soul thirsts for You.

And when I behold Your glory, You so faithfully renew.

Like a bed of rest for my fainting flesh.

I am satisfied in You.

When my soul is filled with doubt and my selfishness and pride have got me down

You bid me “lift your brow”.

And remember better days

when I loved to worship You and learn Your ways singing sweetest songs of praise.

Why are you downcast, o my soul?

Why so disturbed within me?

I can remember when You showed Your grace to me.

As a deer pants for water, so my soul thirsts for You.

And when I survey Your splendor, You so faithfully renew.

Like a bed of rest for my fainting flesh.

I am satisfied in You.

Let my sighs give way to songs

that sing about Your faithfulness.

Let my pain reveal Your glory

as my only real rest.

Let my losses show me all I truly have is You.

Cuz all I truly have is You.

So when I’m drowning out at sea

and all Your breakers and Your waves crash down on me.

I’ll recall Your safety scheme.

You’re the one who made the waves,

and Your Son went out to suffer in my place

and to show me that I’m safe.

So, why are you downcast, o my soul?

Why so disturbed within me?

I can remember when You showed Your grace to me.

As a deer pants for water, so my soul thirsts for You.

And when I survey Your splendor, You so faithfully renew.

Like a bed of rest for my fainting flesh.

I am satisfied in You.

Come Thou FountCome, Thou Fount of every blessing,

Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;Streams of mercy, never ceasing,

Call for songs of loudest praise.

Teach me some melodious sonnet,

Sung by flaming tongues above.Praise His name - I’m fixed upon it -

Name of God’s redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer;

hither by Thy help I’ve come;

And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,

safely to arrive at home.

Jesus sought me when a stranger,

Wandering from the fold of God;He, to rescue me from danger,

Interposed His precious blood;

O to grace how great a debtor,

Daily I’m constrained to be!Let Thy goodness, like a shackle;

Bind my wandering heart to Thee.

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,

Prone to leave the God I love;

Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,

Seal it for Thy courts above.

Oh, that day when freed from sinning,

I shall see Thy lovely face.

Full arrayed in blood-washed linen,

How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace.

Come, my Lord, no longer tarry;

Bring Thy promises to pass

For I know Thy power will keep me

‘Til I’m home with Thee at last.

For I know Thy power will keep me

‘Til I’m home with Thee at last.

We Will FeastWe will feast in the house of Zion.

We will sing with our hearts restored.

“He has done great things,” we will say together.

We will feast and weep no more.

We will not be burned by the fire;

He is the Lord our God.

We are not consumed by the flood;

Upheld, protected, gathered up.

We will feast in the house of Zion.

We will sing with our hearts restored.

“He has done great things,” we will say together.

We will feast and weep no more.

In the dark of night before the dawn,

my soul, be not afraid;

For the promised morning, oh how long?

Oh God of Jacob, be my strength!

We will feast in the house of Zion.

We will sing with our hearts restored.

“He has done great things,” we will say together.

We will feast and weep no more.

Every vow we’ve broken and betrayed;

You are the Faithful One.

And from the garden to grave

bind us together, bring shalom.

We will feast in the house of Zion.

We will sing with our hearts restored.

“He has done great things,” we will say together.

We will feast and weep no more.
