May Month of ServiceOur movement is founded on the core belief that we “help other people at all times” while “doing a good turn daily.” In response to the economic impact and uncertainty in our community surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, I am calling on all members to dedicate a small portion of time this month to worthy service projects for our neighbors and community. Youth members, adult leaders, parents, and the community at large are encouraged to commit to 20 hours of service to others during the month of May 2020.

What is Program Planning
• Proving a year-round quality Scouting program that Scouts earn their own way and that every family can have the opportunity to participate in everything Scouting has to offer.
• Plan your program then fund your program!
• Brainstorm with Scouts, Parents & Leaders
• Ensure you are following the recommended number of activities in Journey To Excellence
Program Plans Helps everyone
• Allow new families to better commit to all activities throughout the year
• Allows veterans scout families maybe plan around signature Scouting events and activities(Summer Camp Expo etc)
• When Scouts participate in well planned activities they stay in longer, invite their friends and parents become more engaged.
