Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Summer is coming to an end and we are moving into Fall. I hope you were able to attend the “Concerts in the Park” as well as our “Annual Luau Celebration”. One of the highlights of our summer was the “Westminster Roadies Summer Camp” which was August1st through the 5th. The Seniors enjoyed the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, Painting with a Twist in Westminster, The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach and a BBQ Bash on the beach in Huntington Beach. All activities included lunch. Thank you to June Traver who served as the Hostess and John Christenson who drove the bus for the event. A special thank you to Shaun Miller who arranged and organized all the activities. A great time was had by all. Thank you to Humana for donating the Birthday cake for the July, August and September Birthdays. We will be starting our Annual See’s Candies fund raiser in October. Just what you need to make any occasion special. Be sure you check the calendar for the seminars by the Orange County Bar Association, Office on Aging, RTH Stroke Foundation, Senior Drivers and the HICAP Medicare Annual Enrollment Clinic.
