Programme OutlineLearn all about the amazing Korean JumpingClay and how
you can form interesting and colourful little items of
characters from it. It is all work and play as you enhance your
motor skills and stretch your imagination to create your very
own masterpiece. At the end of the class, you will have your
own masterpiece and newly formed friends.
Topics consists of:
Introduction to clay materials, shape making, color
mixing and glue/gloss techniques
Artwork creation consists of bear, cupcake, sea creatures

Programme Outline
Salt dough is an inedible organic modelling material which
can be easily made by mixing flour, salt, water and oil. Food
colouring can be added to the dough to give it colour.
Similar to the common clay, salt dough can be used to make
interesting figurines. Come explore the adventure of Salt
Dough Figurine with trainer, Ms Catherine Loo!
Topic consists of:
History and introduction of Salt Dough Figurines
Understanding the colour wheel and colour coordination
The recipe to making salt dough
Making parrot, dog, rose and eggplant using salt dough
About Catherine Loo Catherine is born in Hong Kong and has live in Canada for 30
years. Since coming to Singapore in Sept 2007, Catherine
has been an active member and a volunteer for WINGS
starting 2009. Her outgoing and sociable personality has
gained her many new Singaporean friends. She enjoys
teaching and has been sharing her skills with her peers on
courses like Sudoku, Paper Craft, Chair Exercise and Fondant
decoration.
This class is conducted in English.
