Im really looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the performances on Thursday 29th August. The matinee starts at 12.15pm and the evening performance at 7.00pm (children to arrive by 6.30pm) at the Frankston Arts Centre. Tickets are sold on-line – there are NO ticket sales at the school. The tickets are selling really well so jump online if you dont have yours yet. As always, we ask that you book no more than 4 tickets per family for the evening performance. When you arrive for the evening performance, well have staff waiting for you near the entrance to the central assembly point. When youre ready, just deliver the kids to them and theyll make sure they are handed over to their teacher and marked off on the roll. At the conclusion of the evening performance, all children will leave the stage and go with their teachers, to the central assembly point near the front door of the Arts Centre. As in previous years, well dismiss the children after they are signed out by their parents. We will then go home confident in the knowledge that all children have been collected safely. It took only 20 minutes to sign out all children in 2018 so I thank you in advance for your assistance, support and understanding at the conclusion of the evening. Concert Photo Day was held last week and was sensational! The kids were so well prepared and looked tremendous in their costumes. Thank you to everyone for your work in preparing the kids and for supporting this huge event. A selection of photos, including the class photos, are on display outside the staffroom. We are looking forward to what will be a very big and exciting day next Thursday. Reminders: We ask that no dogs be brought into the school for drop off and pick up times. We all love our dogs but sometimes they are a little overwhelmed by all the action at those times of the day. Please do not park in the NO PARKING zones at the entrance to Moomba Avenue. No parking in those two sites allow greater vision for drivers at drop off and pick up times so that children and community members using that corner are safer. Please be careful not to park across the driveways of our neighbors when dropping off or picking up your children. Have a ripping fortnight! Brad

SPORTS REPORT

Wow-after five washouts we were finally able to complete the Seaford District track events. The students braved the chilly conditions and achieved some excellent results. Well done to all for their effort and exemplary behaviour on the day. Those students who made it through to the Divisional Championships will be notified. The Divisional Championships will be held in Term 4. On Friday September 6 the Grade 6 students will compete in the District Lightning Premiership to be held at Seaford Park PS. Let’s hope we have beautiful weather. Mr Peters
