a difference in people’s lives. Take a moment to read through this worship folder to discover the ways we grow as a community through ministries, outreach, service, and worship.

Nampa College Church is a sacred community. A community that gathers together in worship knowing that God is in the process of changing us. So we invite you to come as you are, dress comfortably, and participate in the singing, the listening, the praying and the gathering around the Table. Sunday Schedule listed below:

SACRED RHYTHMS Our 8:15am worship gathering is led through a pattern of liturgical elements, including collective readings, prayers of intercession and thanksgiving, and the preaching of a homily. Each week this gathering features acoustic musical worship and the receiving of Holy Communion located in the Sanctuary.

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALLJoin us from 9:30-10:30am for classes that offer a way to connect through God’s Word, fellowship and learning how to serve. Visit the Welcome Center for more information on classes offered and locations. SACRED SPACEOur 10:45am worship gathering combines liturgical elements of prayer and scripture readings with blended musical worship led by choir and worship band located in the Sanctuary.

PREPARE ENRICH…building stronger marriagesPrepare Enrich is a customized online assessment tool that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas. During the feedback sessions we will help couples understand their results as well as learn important relationship skills. Contact

Mark & Nancy Sterk for more information: [email protected]

READING THE BIBLE FOR ALL IT’S WORTH For those who have read the Bible all their lives, or for those who are just beginning, this class will teach ways to study the Bible more effectively.

We will then apply these methods and study the book of Philippians together. Contact Pastor Diane Leclerc: [email protected]

LIVING LUKE - A Weekly Bible “Doing”This year in worship we have been studying Luke’s Gospel. But how do we live

the message of Luke? Join Pastor Scott on Wednesday nights this fall for a “Bible Doing” on Luke as we pray, discuss, discern and explore how to live

out the message of Jesus in Luke in our daily lives. Contact Pastor Scott Daniel for more information: [email protected]

TRUST BASED RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN This is an evidenced based model for caregivers who are working with children who come from hard places. This can include early risk factors such as prenatal stressors, a traumatic birth experience, early hospitalization, abuse, neglect or

other trauma. It was developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis from Texas Christian University and is widely used in the foster and adoptive communities.

If you parent or work with children or youth who have experienced any of these things, TBRI can be an effective strategy to better understand their behaviors

and the needs that these behaviors can represent. We will be reading and discussing the book The Connected Child. These strategies are effective for

any child but ideal for kids for whom traditional parenting/discipline methods have not been effective. Contact Pastor Jeff Hall or Julie Schmidt for more

information: [email protected] or [email protected]

COUNTERSTORYCounterStory is an ongoing movement of like-minded Nampa College Church

folks seeking to make a difference in the lives of the young people in our community. We do this by providing support and encouragement through the public schools - particularly Roosevelt Elementary and Nampa High. We are

particularly concerned with the most vulnerable learners that are unaccompanied minors (no legal parent or guardian) and/or homeless youth

(no permanent address). Come and join us this fall to learn about the needs of our wider community and particularly the Nampa School District

All ages welcome! Questions? Contact Pastor Mike: [email protected]

FESTIVAL CHOIRFestival Choir is an intergenerational group of vocalist who are passionate

about worship! It is open to anyone 12 years and older, no audition required, just come with a willing heart and a love for music! For more information

contact Pastor Ryan Gage: [email protected]
