Heartfelt moments of admiration were enjoyed by Americans in our nation these last weeks: the long-standtradition of the Olympics and the 40th Republican Convention. Complete dedication is the theme for both.
Athletes strove to achieve their goals and swell American pride. My head was raised high with celebrationhearing their American stories and so many competitors from other nations saying they love the USA andthanking our citizens for cheering and following them online. The Sprinter Kirani James had won Grenadasrst-ever Olympic gold medal in the men's 400-meters. In his interview with the USA reporter immediatelafter the race, he said he loved America. He mentioned how wonderful President Reagan was and noted thdate of October 25, 1983 when Reagan saved Grenada. He said October 25th is their Thanksgiving celebrati
The convention had overtones of family values, virtue, respect and conveyed excellence. Such optimism is abreath of fresh air compared to the mood in the country and the current leadership. America has a solid, brilliant leadership choice with the Romney/Ryan ticket. Speakers rocked the event and really revved theaudience and us, I am certain. The fact that several speeches were not aired by the liberal stations coveringconvention shows arrogance and a blatant disregard for the truth. No wonder we had so many people locchange their registrations and new voters sign up at the fair this year. They are also tired of being lied to!One can only take so much hype, smoke and mirrors plus that ever-thinning wallet. As Clint Eastwood saWe own this country! Lets work hard and pray that Romney/Ryan Make Our Day on November 6th!

No one hadever seen aHarry Potter
movie.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Emken has called onDianne Feinstein to take part in a series of regional debates. Eachdebate would focus on issues of local importance, such as nationaldefense and the military in San Diego and water issues in Fresno,
and would be moderated by local media. The last time Feinstein faced the music in a public debate forum was
against then-Congressman Tom Campbell in October 2000.
Lets step into the Way Back Machine and see how much the world haschanged since then. In October 2000:
Bill Clinton was PresidentGray Davis was governor of CaliforniaSaddam Hussain was running IraqMost Americans had never heard of Osama bin LadenMost Americans had never heard of Barack Obama, eitherThe World Trade Center towers dominated the Manhattan skyline
No one had ever seen a Harry Potter movieNo one had ever followed or friended anyone on Twitter or FacebooNo one had ever used an iPod, iPhone or iPadUnemployment wasonly 3.9%The federal debt wasonly $5.7 trillionGas wasonly $1.79 a gallon
The world has changed. Dianne Feinstein hasntIts time for a fresh look at who should be our
United States Senator. Lets start with a debateCall Feinstein at (202) 224-3841 or (415) 393-0707 and tell her we demand a debate.

As we watch our great nation make a huge decision on who shall lead us forward, many have felt ourConstitution and the freedoms it protects are continually under attack. Gary K. Gundlach, a home-grown grassroots patriot, will present to us his great appreciation of the Second Amendment and theConstitution as a whole.
He includes in his repertoire: research of a Constitutional scholar, reading quotes from our FoundingFathers, the Constitution, historical documents and current court cases which have rearmed his beliefin the Second Amendment as a valuable foundation of our freedoms.
Mr. Gundlach was born in Scotia, graduated from Eureka High School, received his BA in Journalismand Masters degree in Business Administration. Gary is a husband and father, married to Shawn for 39years, and they have 3 children. He is a senior estimator for Barry Smith Construction in Eureka. Hewas co-chairman for Relay of Life this last year and he will be the event chairman for the next 2 years. As a member of Fortuna Sunrise Rotary, he is Past President and a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a lifemember of the National Rie Association and a member of Heritage Association of America.
Gary has a strong respect for, and derives great enjoyment from, the use of rearms. Since the age of10, Gary has been hunting and shooting. He has sold rearms and, in doing so, has spoken to manypeople who appreciate the freedom to purchase them for self-defense.
Mr. Gundlach is an alternate to the Humboldt County Republican Central Committee and a frequentvisitor to our monthly luncheons, so please join us on September 20th to hear his presentation. As thelate Charlton Heston said, as it relates to other amendments in the Bill of Rights, the SecondAmendment should be the FIRST,as it gives us the freedom to defend the others.
Humboldt Republican Women Welcome
Gary Gundlach
Freedom and Our Constitution
While we, as Republican Women, admire and lobeing called Americans, our nation is rapidlydrifting from its biblical foundations. Our freedoto serve and worship God is often challenged bygroups such as the ACLU.
We are engaged in a great spiritual battle thatthreatens our families and our freedom of religioOnly divine intervention will return America to a
nation continuing to receive the Creator'sblessings.
Our Founding Fathers knew the power and purpof prayer. From America's beginning, many havprayed us through times of tragedy and war.
I believe it is time to go back and heed that veryfamiliar promise from II Chronicles 7:14:
"If my people who are called by My name willhumble themselves, and pray and seek My faceand turn from their wicked ways, than I will heafrom heaven, and will forgive their sin and healtheir land."

Its election season which means our state legislature is busy pandering our rightsaway, spending money we dont have, and tr ying to conscate our guns. Well, ifyou think about it, the scoundrels have to make sure they arent the object of thetarget practice! But to give credit where credit is due, Senator Evans, andAssemblymen Chesbro and Human voted no on the Anti-Hounds for HuntingBear and Bobcat bill. For that, they deserve our thanks, but the bill is still alive!
Your voice needs to be heard. Listed below are 5 bills that jumped out at me(there are so many more) but these are pending critical votes. Youll see the billnumber, the author, how our elected representative voted, its history, a call toaction and the language of the bill.

ACTUAL TEXT: Existing law prohibits the governing authority of a school or otherinstitution from unconditionally admitting any person as a pupil of any private orpublic elementary or secondary school, child care center, day nursery, nurseryschool, family day care home, or development center, unless prior to his or her rstadmission to that institution, he or she has been fully immunized against various

AMERICANISMREPORT
PRAY FOR THE PRESIDENT:As good Christians, we need to pray for Pres. Obama --
in particular, Psalm 109:8--"Let his days be few and brief;
And let others step forward to replace him."
-------------The lame-stream media keep desperately trying to
convince voters that Mitt is simply 'unlikeable'...Here's our take:
Top Ten Reasons To Dislike Mitt Romney:
1. Drop-dead, Armani-ad handsome, with gracious, states-manlike aura; looks like every central casting's #1 choice
for Commander-in-Chief.
2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has
been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breastcancer and MS.
3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet.
4. Can't speak in a fake, southern, "blackpreacher voice" when necessary.
5. Highly intelligent. Graduated cum laude from bothHarvard Law School and Harvard Business School ...
and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.
6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has neverdone drugs, not even in the counter-culture
age when he went to college.
7. Represents an America of "yesterday," where peoplebelieved in God, went to Church, didn't screw around,
worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!
8. Has a family of ve great sons....and none of themhave police records or are in drug rehab. But, of course,
they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that"choice" deserves America 's scorn.
9. Oh, yes.....he's a MORMON. We need to be veryafraid of that very strange religion that teaches itsmembers to be clean-living, patriotic, scally con-
servative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.
10. And one more point.....pundits say because ofhis wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans.
I guess that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad.
Apparently, he didn't understand that actually workingat a job and earning your own money makes you uncool...

Fun Fact: Number of Republicans in America Reaches Record HighThe number of Americans who consider themselves Republicans jumped nearly three points in August, the largestnumber of Republicans ever recorded by R asmussen Report since monthly tracking began in November 2002. -Rasmussen... More importantly, by a 4 point margin, more voters identify as GOP than Democrat. This is the largestspread between the parties ever. Worse for Democrats, the number of voters who identify with their party is alsoapproaching an historic low.... It is a stunning reversal as Obama heads into reelection. - Breitbart
