Dear Shomrei family:

As 5782 begins, we have much to be grateful for at Shomrei Emunah. B"H, through the dedication of our Rav and lay leadership, our shul has continued to thrive during the pandemic. We are looking forward to another inspiring and meaningful Yamim Noraim season in our shul.

On that note, we would like to announce the bidding for the Yomim Noraim Aliyos. This is a singular opportunity to secure a kibbud on these special days, which will be a tremendous zechus for you and your entire family. It is also an opportunity to show your hakaras hatov to our shul.

Bidding for Yom Kippur will close on 9/14 at 9:30 AM.

Shomrei Member Spotlight

Andre and Sarah Kahn

When did you first come to Shomrei? In May 2021 when we were first exploring the community. Where are you both originally from? We are both originally from France, although Sarah moved to the US when she was a few months old, and also lived in Israel for a few years. What do you both do when not in Shomrei? Sarah is a financial analyst at S&P Global, Andre is a legal analyst at the IMF. What are your favorite aspects of our Shul? We appreciate the diversity of the membership, the welcoming atmosphere, and the wide variety of seforim and books in the Beis Medrash! What are your outside interests and hobbies? We both like hiking and skiing, reading and going to museums. Tell Us a little about Your Family: We have three sons! Elisha is 8 and just entered 3rd grade at TA. Our two little ones—Theo (2) and Nathan (1) - just started at the JCC Stoler ELC and they both love it.
