The National Parliament, the Investment Promotion Authority of Papua New Guinea and the Business Council of Papua New Guinea are pleased to launch the inaugural Speaker’s Investment Summit. The event will be held at the National Parliament of Papua New Guinea, Independence Drive, Waigani Port Moresby on the 3rd and 4th of September 2018.

Background In August 2017 the Business Council of PNG and the Investment Promotion Authority took the opportunity to host the 2017 Members of Parliament Induction Program in partnership with National Parliament. It was the first partnership of its kind for the Business Council of PNG and one that proved to be very valuable. The event was a resounding success with maximum attendances throughout the 2 day induction and exhibition program. It also unearthed the perfect avenue to facilitate a growing desire for regular dialogue between government, business and the foreign diplomatic missions Inaugural Speakers Investment Summit The inaugural Speakers Investment Summit will be held at the National Parliament, from 3rd and 4th September 2018. The Summit’s theme is “Growing a Greater PNG, Infinite Opportunities”. It will focus on the promoting pathways for the much needed development for the communities for the districts and provinces, and exploring opportunities for business outside of Port Moresby. The summit expected to be bigger and more popular than the 2017 Parliament Ministers Induction Exhibition Program. We are anticipating 100 Trade booths, approximately 400 delegates and 700 participants over the course of the event. A number of international speakers and leading corporates have already expressed their interest to participate in this year’s event.
