    (2) Any corrections or alterations made by.the originator -must be clearly effected in blue or black ink:

    Provided that any copy containing extensive alterationswill be rejected.

    3. (1) Copy must appear on one side only of each sheetof paper.

    (2) Except |as iss provided ‘in subsection (2) ‘of section3paper must not exceed 210 millimetres in width.

    3) If copy comprises two or more sheets of eieares,sheets must be numbered consecutively, in arabic figures,preferably in the top right-hand corner.

    (4) Where any matter is added after the copy has beenprepared, and such additional matter results in one or morésheets being inserted between those already numbered, allsheets must be renumbered from there onwards’— not, forinstance, 7, 7a, 7b, 8, et cetera.

    4, Photographic copy or copy produced on a duplicating-machine may be acceptedif it is abundantly clear.

    5. (1) Should any copy—_(@) exceed 10 pages of double-spaced typing on size Ad

    paper; or

    (b) contain. tabular or other matter which involvescomplicated setting;

    it will be.classed as “lengthy” copy, and will be required tobesubmitted not less than 21 days before the date of closing forthe Gazette in whichit is to be published.

    _ (2) Lengthy copy may be accepted at less than 21 days’notice if—

    (a) the work involved is of a straightforward and non-tabular nature; an

    (b) the total volume of work on hand for the timebeing permits its acceptance.

    6. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in”these. conditions, any copy—

    @ which is of national importance, and which - isoriginated as a-matter of urgent necessity, may, byprior arrangement, be accepted late for the currentweek;

    7. Copy must not be submitted as part of a letter or arequisition. It mustappear on a separate sheet of paper, onwhich there is no instruction or other extraneous matter.

    8. (1) In cases where notices have to be published intabular form, copy must be drafted exactly as it is to appear.If, printed’ forms for any .such notices are unavailable,advertisers must prepare their own forms. While it is notnecessary to include the preamble, the box-headings must: bethere, and, where applicable, the number of the form; forexample, “Insolvency Regulations—Form 3”,

    (2) In the case of copy for tabular notices; the provisionof subsection (2) of section 3 does not apply.

    9. Copy for all advertisements, whether sent bypost ordelivered by hand, must be accompanied by a requisition or

    _ a letier which clearly sets out—(a) the name and address of the advertiser; and

    ' (G) the debtor’s code-number,if any; and

    -(c) the required date or dates of publication.(1) If a typographical error occurs in the Gazette, it is

    ‘rectified as soon as possible by a correcting notice, withoutcharge to the ministry or department concerned, subject tothe following conditions—

    (a) that such error is reported to the editor within threemonths from the date of publication; and

    (b) that the relevant copy, upon re-examination, isproved to be abundantly clear; and .

    (c) that the correction of such erroris legally necessary.(2) Ifa drafting error is not detected before publication,

    the originating ministry or department is required to draft itsown correcting notice, take it to the Attorney-General forvetting, and pay for such notice tobe‘published.

    (3) For the removal of doubt—(a) a typographical error is made by a typographer;

    (b) a typist’s error is classed as a drafting error byreason of the fact that the officer responsible fordrafting failed to check the typist’s work,
