-The writer or speaker statesfact after fact as they occur,
seemingly freely and artlessly.
-A loose sentence, also called
a cumulative sentence,begins with a main clause thatis followed by phrases and/or
clauses that modify the mainclause. These phrases orclauses add information to the
main or independent clause.
