Victoria Day Office Closures TOWN OF MORINVILLE & RCMP On May 21 Morinville offices and Morinville RCMP and administraon lines will be closed to observe Victoria Day. All offices will re-open 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22. Boulevard Cleaning & Street Sweeping Street sweeping is underway and will connue as weather permits. Advance noce signs are placed in residenal subdivisions advising residents to move vehicles in order for crews to access their area to achieve a thorough cleaning. Street sweeping connues throughout the summer months for special events such as fesvals and parades. Community Grants Submission Deadline: May 31 If you are a not-for-profit organizaon, community group, team, or associaon of Morinville and have projects that benefit our community, you may qualify for assistance through the Community Grant Program. To apply, download the applicaon at www.morinville.ca, or for more informaon, please call 780.939.7839. Take advantage of the 2018 Toilet Rebate Program to update your old and inefficient toilets with low-flush or dual-flush toilets. The program provides a rebate of $75 on the purchase of new low-flush or dual-flush toilets rated 6 Liters per flush (Lpf) of less. The free stage performance is from 10 - 2 p.m. Bus pickup at Heritage Place Lodge at 8:45 a.m. MCCC at 9 a.m. Cost is transportaon only. Seniors’ Tea — Morinville Community Cultural Centre Join us for the Seniors’ Tea at the MCCC (9502-100 Avenue). Entertainment by Juke Box Leigh. Lunch and Learn — Rotary Club of Morinville/Sturgeon County This “Lunch and Learn” focuses on senior related conversaon in regards to wellness, fraud prevenon and elder abuse.
