History of Narragansett Beach Narragansett Town Beach is a classic New England saltwater coastal beach front that

offers some of the best cleanest and accessible beach conditions for the residents and tourists in New England. Located in the center of town, the beach offers a beautiful sandy beachfront, surfing areas, and food.

This beach features the Narragansett Towers are all that remain of the Narragansett Pier Casino. The casino was constructed between 1883 and 1886, and was Narragansett's biggest attraction at the turn of the century. However, after two fires and a few hurricanes, the Towers are all that remain. Today they host a wide variety of events, and are an extremely popular venue for weddings.

Design

Conglomeration of essential elements associated with Rhode Island Mixed media piece with a varied color scheme

Mainly a warm color scheme fading to a natural scheme and a sky that progressively becomes more blue as it moves to the left

Lighthouse (where we will be located) in the center serves as a dividing line between realism and surrealism.

Surreal side (right) features: hot-air balloons, the Newport beach towers, Iggy’s, Autocrat coffee syrup, and Providence waterfire

The the realistic side (left) features a rocky peninsula that gives way to a sandy beach bordered by tall grass and violets, and to the left the Block Island Ferry sits in the water with the Rhode Island flag in the sky
