Senior SIP/VoIP System Engineer

Job Description We address this opportunity to open-minded candidates with strong expertise in VoIP/SIP Protocols to join an international company and be involved in the integration of our client’s proprietary VoIP solution into legacy telephony systems (such as PBX) via the SIP/RTP protocols. Due to the horizontal team structure and the organic growth that this company is offering together with your remarkable passion and results, you will have the chance to take the next step and become the Lead VoIP Engineer. Main responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, testing and deployment of the VoIP solutions: the

current and maintenance versions

Coordinate and troubleshoot the integration process of the solution with customer’s PBX

together with the operation team

Working closely with remote engineers teams

Acting as a Senior within the team: mentoring and training colleagues on SIP topics

Acting as a Technical Consultant for the company’s clients

Involved in the development of secure messaging and secure telephony solutions

Education Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronic engineering or telecommunications, 5+ years of work experience Experience

Higher Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar

5 years experience with SIP protocols, routing components and related media transmission protocols

( SBC, B2BUA, SDP, RTP, SRTP etc)

5 years experience developing with C/C++ and Scripting languages

2 years experience developing with Java language

Experience with PBX vendor products such as Asterisk, Cisco Call Manager, FreeSWITCH etc.

Strong experience in VoIP integration, testing and SIP troubleshooting

Experience in the development of SIP, (S)RTP and common VoIP protocol and network architecture

Willingness to travel, when needed

Proactive and independent personality

Fluency in English
