Senior Citizen Audit Program Eligibility Application Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey provides senior citizens with opportunities in higher education. The Senior Citizen Audit Program is authorized by the Rutgers University Board of Governors to permit retired New Jersey residents, age 62 or older, to attend courses on a space-available, noncredit basis. There are no tuition costs for auditing courses. Eligibility Requirements to be accepted into the Rutgers Senior Citizen Audit Program are: 1. Complete the Senior Citizen Audit Program Eligibility Application 2. Return completed application with copies of proof of age and residency Once your Eligibility Application is approved, you will be sent instructions on how to proceed to request permission to audit courses, register for parking, and how to obtain other privileges at Rutgers. Senior Citizen Audit Program eligibility information To participate in the Rutgers Senior Citizen Audit Program you must be a New Jersey resident aged 62 or older before the last day of the semester for which you are interested in registering. You will need to include copies of identification with your Eligibility Application to verify your age and New Jersey residency when submitting the application. Some acceptable documents include: Acceptable for both age and residency verification: (only 1 required) * New Jersey Driver’s License (front only) * New Jersey State or County ID * New Jersey Tribal identification card OR Acceptable for age verification only: (only 1 required plus 1 residency document) - Birth certificate - Passport AND Acceptable for New Jersey residency verification only: (only 1 required plus 1 age verification document) - NJ tax bill - NJ voter registration card - Two Proofs of New Jersey Residency (a combination of the following: current lease, deed, mortgage statement, property tax statement AND a utility bill Electric/Gas, Water, Sewer)

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey provides senior citizens with opportunities in higher

education.

The Senior Citizen Audit Program is authorized by the Rutgers University Board of Governors to

permit retired New Jersey residents, age 62 or older, to attend courses on a space-available,
