assessing a wide variety of girl programming at the Cicero Service Center with the goal of strategically positioning Girl Scouts as the
preeminent development organization for girls. The Girl Experience Manager is responsible for developing and implementing long and
short term programming region-wide with the goal of strategically positioning Girl Scouts as a preeminent development organization
for girls. The Girl Experience Manager coordinates the awards processes, travel, and program activities highlighting the Girl Scout
Leadership Experience to support the needs of current members in the assigned region and to recruit new members to the organization.
The Girl Experience manager works to actively engage individually registered members in programming in the assigned region. The
Girl Experience Manager works collaboratively within the program department and with other departments to ensure achievement of
the goals of the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and implement innovative program
pathway events and activities supporting girl development in the main focus areas of Arts, Business/Entrepreneurship, Healthy Living,
Outdoor/Environmental Education, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Ensure that related program components
are consistent with national curricula and content meets the needs and interests of current and prospective girl participants in the

Awards Committee within the assigned region to guide girls through the awards process. Collaborate with team members to organize
and deliver the Young Women of Distinction event. Plan and implement signature events in assigned region and support program team

regional Outdoor Program Manager, plan and implement regional and council-wide travel experiences. Facilitate and maintain active
engagement of regional individually registered members in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by providing access to programming,
outreach, and direct support to service unit leadership. Coordinate with the regional recruitment team to assess resources of the
community, the needs of girls, and ensure access to programs that engage new members. Works with the marketing and
communications team to effectively market program opportunities to internal and external audiences. Participate in the design and
delivery of programs for members and non-members of all ages as determined by the annual Plan of Work. Prepare and adhere to
budgets for assigned program activities. Adhere to the post-event report schedule as assigned. Interprets the Girl Scout Leadership
Experience philosophy and the council's policies, procedures and standards. Answers, problem-solves, manages and responds
appropriately to all inquiries including but not limited to email, phone and walk-in customers and optimizes the use of technology to
support customer service for volunteers. Contribute to council publications, web site or other resources as assigned. Ensure the
measurement of outcomes to assist in quality improvement and effective marketing of the Girl Scout brand. Participate in cross-
functional teams to support membership extension to underserved communities, regions, or age levels. Establish positive working
relationships with staff in departments necessary to gather information to meet volunteer, donor, and other constituent requirements.
Attend other meetings as appropriate with managers, directors, volunteers, service centers, etc. Works productively with a diverse

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING GRANTS Missing a skill or two that you need to land your dream job?
Seneca County businesses can hire, train and upgrade the skills of workers that do not
meet the minimum qualifications for a job using a grant from your local Workforce
Development Office.

PROCESS

interests and to begin pre-screening.
We will help you identify career fields that qualify for training and employers that are
interested in this grant.
Candidates will go through an employer’s normal interview process and if hired you will
be a regular employee of the company.
An employer can also request eligibility screening for anyone who applies directly to their
business. If you have been pre-screened by Seneca County we can provide you with a
letter stating that you are eligible for this program to provide to any employer that you
apply to.
Employers will be reimbursed for a portion of wages paid to trainees and you will be a
regular employee; eligible for all benefits provided to non-OJT hires.
**PLEASE NOTE: All paperwork must be completed prior to the trainee’s first day of work.
Please allow a minimum of 14 business days for paperwork processing and completion. **
