    1. Confessions of a Homeschooling Failur e Tammye HamiltonHomeschooling is challenging and can leave the best mom feeling like a failure. Do you worry that

    homeschooling mother of eight as she shares from her own experiences to give you renewedperspective and encouragement for your personal journey.

    2. Preschoolers: Creating a Love for L earn ing Barb Mesh

    This seminar will help parents prepare for early learning and get ready to tackle the early elementaryschool years. Barb will cover creating an encouraging learning environment, examining relaxed and

    traditional approaches, reviewing appropriate curriculum and activities to use at the preschool agethrough third grade, as well as finding support available for social and educational outlets.

    Does your child like to be immersed in a breadth of activities? Is she outgoing, expressive and at homein the world? Or does your child prefer solitary activities, spending time reading and reflecting? Does

    he show fewer but more intense interests? In this seminar find out how to decipher whether your child

    is an Extravert or an Introvert and what that means to your family and school life. This teaching willdiscuss how these two personality types differ, how they gain their energy and direct their attention,

    and how they like to learn.

    4. Why Teach a Chri stian Worl dview? Steve PonceIn order to protect the sacrificial investment we make in the lives of our children, we must instill a way

    of thinking that is contrary to a fallen, sinful world. The Bible gives us a foundation for every aspect

    of life--not just the religious side. Homeschooling parent and youth pastor Steve Ponce shares how to

    cultivate and nurture a Christian Worldview in your children.

    Do you find you are running out of the house encouraging kids to grab their math books to work onwhile you wait at the doctor's office? Do you spend more time drilling your children on spelling than

    This workshop goes over the ways to feed and grow the innovative part of our childrens minds. Westress building the analytical part of the child through academics, but we routinely neglect the

    inspirational part that creates that spark. Thomas Edison said that invention was 1% inspiration and

    99% perspiration, but without that 1%, we still fall short of true creativity. This talk is appropriate for

    kids also.
