What is composting? Composting is a natural biological process which consists of transforming fermentable matter into an organic improver.
Making compost from organic matter (grass from mowing, clippings from hedges and small shrubs, dead leaves, etc.) reduces waste volume by producing humus that enhances plant development
On the Ecosite composting platform, Semavert produces a reference-compost that is standardised (NFU 44051) and European Ecolabel certified as the “Green Compost of the Essonne”.

What are the advantages of the Essonne Green Compost?The use of the Essonne Green Compost improves the rate of nutrient diffusion, the structure of soils, and the bioavailability of nutritional elements (nitrogen). It increases micro-fauna biodiversity and favours the limitation of plant diseases.
