1GENERAL

This is guideline for how to fill up the truck scale data sheet.

The truck scale is equipment to measure when goods are warehoused or delivered from the warehouse. This equipment is simple, so its structure and properties may be specified sufficiently with only the data sheet. You may refer to this guide to fill in the data sheet.

2SHEET NO. AND REVISION NO.

For revision, it shall be marked as Revision 0 in the initial issue. Every time, the revision of the concerned data sheet is generated, revision shall be entered in step, such as 1, 2, 3, and the revision method shall apply the DWG method.

3PROJECT INFORMATION

Customer's name shall be entered in full name, if possible, and area and country name shall be entered for location. For service, the concerned system or process shall be entered. For Req'N No. it shall be entered as follow up after Req'N is issued, because it needs to be entered when Req'n is issued by the Machine Team.

3.1 Supplier

As a supplier is decided after a purchase contract of the equipment is made, it shall be indicated by checking it when 1st phase vendor print is accepted.

3.2 No. Reqd

Required number and unit of the equipment shall be entered.

4OPERATING CONDITIONS4.1Type

Type refers to the shape of the truck scale platform installed, and is classified into a pit type and a pit less type. The pit type is to install the platform to be aligned with ground level, which is applied to narrow turning area of a truck.

The pit less type is to install the platform above ground level, which is applied when the turning area of a truck is sufficient.

4.2 Capacity

Capacity is decided depending on the capacity of a truck, and is decided by the owner's in general.

The marking of capacity is good to mark in line with the capacity of a truck, but, KG shall be entered on the data sheet, because the truck capacity marking method is diverse.

4.3 Min. Graduation

This is to indicate minimum measurement of the scale, and is indicated as the unit of positive number. The marking is carried out like 1KG, 10KG, etc.

4.4 Accuracy

This is to enter the error of the scale, and the marking method is like this: 1/2500, 1/3000

4.5 Temperature Range

This is to enter air temperature. The air temperature is closely associated with the error of the scale. For this reason, air temperature shall be essentially recorded.

4.6 Platform Dimension

It is better to decide by checking the length and width of a truck in terms of platform. However, if decision is difficult, write down the standard size on the data sheet in reference of vendor catalogue, and the dimensions shall be revised with confirmed size later on.

4.7 Installation

Insulation generally indicates the locations of platform and local board, and insulation shall be decided in reference of general plot plan. Especially, insulation shall be entered by checking whether or not it is related to hazardous area.

4.8 Measuring Display

This indicates display methods, and a digital method is usually used.

5CONSTRUCTION5.1 Recording Sys.

This is about recording method, and shall be decided in consultation with the owner.

5.1.1 Type

This refers to how to use paper for record, and one method of three methods card insert method, continuous paper roll system, and paper cut each time shall be selected. The selection of the method about how to use paper for record shall be decided in consultation with the owner.

5.1.2 Continuous of Recording

This refers to matters to be recorded on the paper for record. Basically, date, serial number, tare weight, net weight, and gross weight shall be recorded.

5.1.3 Recording Operation

This refers to how to operate equipment when recording matters on the paper for record. An electronic type and a manual type shall be selected.

5.2 Attachments

Attachments refer to accessories mounted on the display, and shall be used selecting from the data sheet.

6MATERIALS

These indicate the materials of structures of the truck scale.

SS41 is used for the material of platform and support.

7ACCESSORIES

Accessories include local display, computer system, pit pump, printer cards, rolled paper, ribbon for print, damping oil, fuse, and test weight.

Local display refers to install outside of the gate house or around truck scale platform. Local display shall be installed where truck drivers or operators may see it.

Computer system is the system to install enabling control of the status of warehousing and delivery from warehouse in the DCS.

Pit pump is applied to pit type among the truck scale types. Location is needed to be careful. Printer cards, rolled paper, ribbon for print, damping oil, and fuse are spare parts, and it's better to get checked by the owner.

Test weight is concerned with scope of supply, but the supply relations are needed to be checked by the owner.
