2. Select unit to meet cooling requirements.Since total cooling is within the range of 6 ton [21.1 kW] unitenter cooling performance from the TZCAC072 table, at 95°F[35°C] outdoor temperature, 63°F [17°C] wb entering indoorair, and 2050 CFM [967 L/s]:

SAMPLESPECIFICATIONSUnit shall be completely factory assembledand performance tested to provide therequired cooling and heating functionssuitable for outdoor installations. Unit shallbe UL/cUL listed and rated in accordanceto AHRI Standard 210.

CabinetUnit casing, base pan and framework shallbe manufactured of galvanized sheet metalprimed and finished with powder paintcapable of withstanding a 1000-hour saltspray test per ASTM B 117. Unit interiorcabinet surfaces shall be insulated with aminimum 1/2-inch thick foil faced insula-tion. Access panels shall be easily remov-able providing access to the blower, filter,heating compartment, and compressor/control box. Unit base rails shall be pro-vided with fork insertion slots and riggingholes. Condensate drain pan shall be ofsloped design to conform to ASHRAE 62.Unit shall be supplied ready for verticalairflow and be easily convertible tohorizontal airflow at or before installation.

Compressor(s)Unit shall be provided with fully hermeticscroll compressor(s) with internallyprotected safety controls.

CoilsThe evaporator and condenser coilsshall be fabricated of copper tubes withmechanically bonded aluminum platefins. They shall be pressure tested prior toassembly into the unit, and electronicallyleak tested after assembly.

Condenser FanA single direct drive propeller fan shalldischarge air vertically upward. The fanmotor shall be permanently lubricatedand have built-in overload protection.

Evaporator BlowerA single, double inlet, centrifugal wheelshall rotate in permanently lubricated ballbearings. The wheel shall be made fromsteel with corrosion resistant finish andshall be statically and dynamicallybalanced.

ACCESSORIESROOF CURBCurb shall be full perimeter type, comply-ing with the standards of the NationalRoofing Contractors Association. Designshall provide for drop-in of supply andreturn ducts prior to setting unit, andinclude an insulating panel for the rest ofthe curb area.

EconomizerEconomizer shall be completely assem-bled for field installation. Unit shall includeall controls and dampers including thebaro metric relief damper.

Manual Fresh Air DamperDamper shall consist of damper and rain-hood which is manually preset to admit upto 35% of outside air for field installation.

Motorized Fresh Air DamperDamper shall consist of motor, damper,and rainhood which can admit up to 35%of outside air for field installation.

Electric Heat KitsElectric heat kits shall be available in awide range of capacity with branch circuitfusing allowing single point wiring. Kitsshall be UL/cUL approved. Each kit shallbe offered as a field or factory installedoption.

Pressure ControlsHigh and low pressure controls shall beincluded for field or factory installation.

Low Ambient ControlLow ambient control shall be provided tocycle the condenser fan in response to condensing pressure and allow operation to 0 degrees F. The option shall be field orfactory installed.

Louver Panel KitsField or factory installed louver kits shall be provided for condenser coil protectionagainst hail or flying debris.
