    ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

    The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, is a global investor and advisor

    committed to promoting projects in its developing member countries that are economically beneficial, financially and

    commercially sound, and environmentally and socially sustainable. IFC finances private sector investments, mobilizes capital

    in the international financial markets, helps clients improve social and environmental sustainability, and provides technical

    assistance and advice to governments and businesses in the developing world.

    IFCs PPP Transactions Advisory Department (the Team) is focused on assisting governments (the Clients) to develop and

    bring to market public private partnerships primarily in infrastructure sectors.

    The Team intends to retain a panel of Technical Consultants to assist IFC to develop PPP projects in the infrastructure sector

    involving public transport utilities including, but not limited to airports, public transits and the like.

    The Technical Consultats will be required to provide technical consultancy services in the following areas, among others:

    Market and Competition Studies and Assessment of Demand

    Airport Master Planning

    Environmental and Social Due Diligence (E&S DD)

    Selection and contracting will normally be made from responses to this request for expression of interest. The consultant will beselected from a shortlist, subject to availability of funding.

    Regulatory framework analysis

    Long term financial forecast modeling, including revenue and cost analysis,

    Implementation of the transaction: Draft of Bidding Documentation, Public Consultation and Road Shows

    Bidding follow up, including support during commercial and financial closure.

    SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    The World Bank now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must

    provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments,

    experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms CV and cover letter for individuals).

    Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their

    qualifications.

    NOTES

    Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals for

    specific PPP projects, as applicable. Short listing. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding and the

    official mandate from the Clients .

    1. Experience in doing technical and financial feasibility studies for PPPs in the region in the last 5 years, having aGovernment entity, private investor or other public entity as a client. *

    2. Senior staff with at least 10 years of international experie nce on PPP projects in the in frastructure sectorproviding advisory services, project management and other staff with at least 5 years experience in complexfinancial modeling. *

    3. International experience on PPPs public transport utilities, including airports, airspace, airfield and terminalplanning and (ii) airport privatization

    4. Local experience working in countries in the region
