Exploration And Discovery
Discovery is like find something accidentally.
Like going anywhere and you fall and there is a new rock that you find. Sometimes discovery is related to Exploration because if you explore you can discover something.
Exploration is like going to the Amazonas or to the forests of the world so, you can find things that are already discovered but it doesn't mean that you cant discover something.
IMPORTANT DISCOVERIES THROUGH TIMEE=mc2
E: energy. M:mass. C:velocity of the light. The E=MC2 is used to power cities, make nuclear bombs and nuclear plants and with this we can go by 300,000,000,000 meter per hour. It was discovered by Albert Einstein.
Fire
The discovery of fire is important because if the Homo Erectus hadn’t discovered it none of us could be here. It was important for them because with the fire they could protect themselves from the animals, eat hot things and light caves.
Evolution
The discovery of the evolution is important because we can know where we come from and Darwin had to travel too long in a ship more than Columbus. Darwin was traveling to all the world in a boat and when he got to Galapagos in Ecuador he discovered the evolution of the human beings.
The Discovery of America
The discovery of America is important and with so many effects because its a long story. The discovery of America started like this: Columbus asked the king of Portugal form money and he said no. So, some years later he asked the queen of Spain and she said yes. So, Columbus went to America with 3 ships. Effects: Indians: It was bad because Columbus brought diseases to the Indians and they killed so may Indians.
Columbus: It was not good. He didn’t get any of the treasure and he went to jail.
Crew members: It was bad and good. They got sick but they got more percentage of treasure than Columbus.
Queen: It was good because she was rich and more famous than Columbus.
Navigation
The navigation was revolutionized with the tools and everything and the navigation helps the people to discover and travel to new lands or lands that were already discovered so, I'm going to show you some navigation tools.
Maps, compass and cross staff.
Maps
The maps were used long time ago. They are old because they were easy to make, easy to use and they look old but we steel use them. The first maps were the globe maps.
Compass
The compass is old but some times you need it to know in what direction you want to go so, you can go to your destination. The compass is so useful.
Cross Staff
The cross staff is used to measure the distance from the sun or star to the horizon.
The cross staff can’t be used in boats because the boat moves so, you need to stay relaxed and measure the distance.
