Praises and Prayers 2014 Has Been A Unique Year!

It has been a year all about growth and the changes growth brings! The great part of that, of course, is... The excitement of seeing new believers and them

getting into the church and being baptized. The Bible Clubs growing in number and the children

growing in the Word. The Church Leaders Training Academy (CLTA) in

Jirandogo completing the 1st year. The 2nd Bunk House going up in Jirandogo. The 3rd Ministry Center that is being built right now

in Gushegu which will be used as another CLTA, a Bible Club Leaders Training facility, and a church.

The 2 month internship that Chris G. did with us. The wonderful mission teams we have had come to

minister alongside us. The thrill of already this year more than 300 people

being baptized at Seed Ministry, Tamale. The joy of being able to turn more of the Ministry

over to local people and now work alongside them as they oversee their ministries.

Wow! God just keeps on blessing the Ministry in Ghana! And He keeps growing and blessing our family as well. In July, we added our 3rd grandson-in-law, Spencer, who mar-ried our granddaugh-ter, Emily and our 1st great grandson Mason Alan 8lbs8oz from granddaughter Samantha and Corey.

More examples of how true these verses are ...

The hard part of Growth is the changes it brings with it. A few years ago, as the Ministry really began to grow, God kept revealing to us that we needed to ‘let go’ of part of the ministry. Our ‘mantra’ became ‘Let it go to let it grow’. That was when we began the training process with the Area Leaders, brought Toby and Joy in to help for some time and seriously began looking at expanding the ministry beyond a day’s ride from Tamale. This meant a lot of changes in the way we were doing some things, especially administratively. So we began to train others to help with tracking the various areas of the ministry and graciously Chip and Roger created and worked me through an Access database. Now… The Bible Clubs are the ministry of the 5 Area Leaders and have grown to more than 250. The number of chil-

dren that attend are at the 10,000 mark. They are now having to go to tie breaker Scripture memory after an-swering over 200 questions at the Zone Level of their Rallies. Children are being saved through their Clubs and as they get older are becoming the leaders in their churches.

The Tamale Staff now take on the responsibilities of setting up Team ministries and taking care of the teams that visit whether we are there or not.

The Jirandogo staff are being trained and are already helping take care of teams and the CLTA students. Emmanuel oversees all aspects of the ministry with minimal input from Bob. So even though change comes hard for me, it is easy to see how God is using it and growing this ministry. But this growth would have never happened if you had not been willing to partner with us as we have traveled this road. You have prayed us through all of this, you have given financially and in many, many ways assisted us through the years and continue to bless us everyday. Thank you so much for all you do and especially for all your prayers.
