Fortress Cantilever Slide Gates, designed to close openings of 6 to 120 feet,have set the industry standard for performance and quality for over 25 years. With astructure of engineered aluminum extrusions, stainless steel cables and galvanizedhardware, this combination creates a system that glides effortlessly without need forground track or overhead beam.
Highly engineered gate panels, matched operators and access control accessoriesare designed and tested as complete systems to perform flawlessly in all weatherconditions (many running over 200,000 continuous duty cycles). Swing Gates closeopenings of up to 24feet for a single gateand up to 48 feetwith use of a doublegate. They are idealfor locations wherethere is not enoughroom to roll a slidegate or as a replacement for an old steel gate as they are muchlighter and easier to operate manually or automatically.
A variety of gate finishes can be provided, from aluminum millfinish with chain link design to an ornamental design with picketsand powder coating to match almost any fence line.

Overhead & Rolling Gate SystemsThe Fortress Overhead Slide Gate provides rugged, reliableand low maintenance protection for high cycle applications inextreme climates. An enclosed aluminum track for use withTymetal’s rugged truck system is attached to a steel beam,designed for openings from 12 to 50 feet.
The Fortress Overhead Slide Gate System includes aluminumgate panels with ornamental pickets or chain link mesh. A varietyof chain driven or hydraulic operators are designed to match thegate panel and provide reliable operation, year after year.
The Fortress Box Frame Roller Gate represents a dramatic breakthroughin the design, construction and performance of large roller gates by using aspecially designed wheel system. In high wind conditions, the width of thewheel carriage and the low center of gravity keep the gate in place. Shouldwinds be high enough to lift the wheels from the beam, the roller safetyguides come into contact with the underside of the track’s top flange,keeping the gate securely anchored. Openings around the world up to 500feet have been protected using this system. A complete system is provided,from the gate and track to a choice of operator systems.
The Tymetal Telescoping Box Frame Roller Gate (U.S. Patent# 8,181,689 B2) closes large openings with an internal extensiongate frame. This type of frame allows a gate to be stored in just over1/2 of the clear opening length; for example a gate closing a 60 footopening can be stored in as little as 37 feet. All gate panels aresupported by anti-friction roller bearings for low maintenance andincreased service life. Safety clips provide additional high-windprotection to prevent gate tip-over.
The Telescoping Box Frame Roller system is available in chain link orornamental pickets to match nearly any fence line. Multiple operatorsizes and types are available in chain drive or hydraulic, with optionalvariable high speed with soft start and stop capabilities.

Vertical Lift & Vertical Pivot GatesThe Fortress Vertical Lift Gate isideal for sites where space is limited.They can be used to close openingsup to 60 feet and match almost anyfence line.
Tymetal provides a complete VerticalLift Gate system featuring a matchedgate panel for your particular securityor aesthetic requirements. Thesystem also includes balanced steelcounterweights, rebar cages, andengineered footing details forstandard applications.
Heavy duty construction allows foryears of trouble-free use even inhigh cycle applications. Thecomplete Vertical Lift Gate systemincludes a variable high speedoperator with integrated hand crankfor manual operation.
