While the news-cycle is consumed with high-profile attacks, the reality is that the majority of malicious activity isn’t focused on global enterprises or government agencies, but on small and mid-sized companies. The latest UK Government Security Breaches Survey found that nearly three-quarters (74%) of small organisations reported a security breach in the last year; representing a significant year-over-year increase and making SMEs the most targeted of all business sizes. Make no mistake – small businesses are now the preferred target for digital attackers.

Adding fuel to the fire, the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation, due to come into effect in 2018, could impose financially crippling sanctions on companies of any size, should a security breach compromise customer data. The new legislation could see fines of up to €20m or 4% of global annual turnover, whichever is greater.

The consultation process takes around one week to complete and culminates in a report of findings and recommendations. This consultative approach provides you with a high-level overview of your security estate, as well as pragmatic suggestions, that you can then integrate into your existing strategy.

We deliver the Security Assessment in four phases:
