LIFEGUARD HOSE BURST NYLON PROTECTIVE SLEEVEMEETS MDG41 REQUIREMENTS

The LifeGuard line-of-sight sleeving system is an effective, economical alternative to costly metal shielding or re-routing of hose lines, and does not affect system performance. With an inner layer of tightly woven filament nylon and an outer layer of textured nylon that also resists abrasion, it meets ISO3457 and MSHA flame-resistance requirements.

TEXSLEEVE is a continuous nylon fibre treated

with a special process to eliminate air from be-

tween the fibres. This process gives the product a

super compact textile wire making it far better

than any other standard fibre sleeve on the market.

The Department of Primary Industries requires this

type of protection for hydraulic hoses where there

is potential for harm to personnel or the environ-

ment in the event of a hose failure.

TEXSLEEVE also has excellent abrasion and fire

resistance capabilities making it the top of the line

choice in hose protection.

Note: TEXSLEEVE can be fitted clamped or un-

clamped. For best performance it is recommended

that shrink-band clamps be used to secure the

sleeve over the crimped hose ferrule. See page 5.28

Hydraulic HoseHeatGuard Silicon Fire Jacket

HeatGuard is a completely non-asbestos, heat resistant, protective sleeving. Its special silicone coating can also withstand a broad range of solvents and fuels. It goes on easily over most hoses and couplings, with only hose clamps or wire ties required for fastening.

Best of all, HeatGuard can pay for itself in reduced replacement and maintenance costs.

HeatGuard is knitted, coated fibreglass; meets SAE AS1072A specification

Temperature range: -54°C to +260°C for continuous exposure.
