SECONDARY SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND VETERINARY LANSKROUN

SZeS Lanskroun is situated in the eastern Bohemia in Pardubice region. It is about

200 km from Prague and 20 km from Ceska Trebova. Lanskroun has a rich history

and it was established in the second half of the 11th century. Lanskroun school

system has been connected with agricultural school for more than 70 years and

its tradition goes to 1945. In its history the school has been developed commonly

with the school farm. Now you can see new and modern classrooms and facilities

for practical lessons. There is an area for cattle and horse breeding that is an

unseparated part of the school farm. It is used as a natural classroom for

vocational education.

Almost 300 students study in our school.

School facilities are made of 4 main parts:

2. School canteen

Students´ all-day boarding, accommodated students can have breakfast,

snack, lunch and supper (eventually 2nd supper)

3. School farm

163 ha, 40 dairy cows, meat cattle, breeding animals + young cattle, 35

horses, sheep, goats

outdoor and 2 indoor riding-schools, stables, paddocks

breeding of farm livestock
