The Mother Tongue Language (MTL) policy requires all students (including foreign students) to offer MTL, unless granted exemption by MOE.
Copy of the MOE exemption letter must be submitted to form teachers by 2 Jan 2018.If you have not done so, the latest is 8 Jan 2018.

Students have to sit for the MEP Selection Exercise if they are applying for the MEP Centres They should also have obtained a pass in Grade Three Practical
and Theory/Practical Musicianship exams of the ABRSM or the equivalent standard from other exam boards;
OR in the absence of the above qualifications,

The Selection Exercise comprises the following: Listen and analyse two musical extracts and answer a
series of questions Music Theory Practical Audition (2 contrasting pieces on an
instrument/voice in any style of a total duration of 5 min) Interview

Homework guidelines
Homework given should be well-designed and in appropriate quantity to bring about the intended learning outcomes. It should: (a) Be purposeful; (b) Be within the students’ capabilities and developmental
readiness (c) The amount of homework given should be age-appropriate
and take into account the competing demands on students’ time (e.g. CCA, competitions, enrichment classes, tests, examinations) to ensure well-being of our students is taken care of.

• Test dates will be given at least a week in
advance.
• Parents’ circular will be given only for Mid Year
Examination and End of Year Examination.
• For the other tests, your child will be expected
to record the test dates in his/her student’s

School Expectations Attendance- Students are required to see a doctor to
obtain a medical certificate (MC) to verify their illness
- MC should be submitted to FT on the day of student’s return to school.
