Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to participate in the VI Conference of Young Scientists

"WELDING AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES,

organized by the Young Scientists Council of the E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute

of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on 25-27 May, 2011.

The participation of young scientists is expected in the work of the Conference

(students, graduate students, doctoral students, engineers and researchers under

the age of 35).

To participate in the Conference, please, fill the Registration Form and prepare

Abstracts in accordance with the requirements given in the attachment and send

them to the Organizing Committee in electronic form before April 20, 2011.

Material sent after the deadline, or not filled in accordance with the above

requirements, could be not accepted.

Topics of the Conference:

1. Advanced technologies of welding and joining materials

2. Strength, reliability and life of welded structures

3. Technology of surfacing, coating and surface treatment

4. Special electrometallurgy processes

5. New structural and functional materials

6. Technical diagnostics and nondestructive testing

7. Automation of welding processes and related technologies

8. Physicochemical processes (thermodynamics, kinetics, microstructure, phase

transformations, corrosion)

9. Mathematical modeling and information technologies in welding and related

processes

Invitation and Call for abstracts:

Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail [email protected] , the deadline of

abstracts submission is April 20, 2011.

The Conference Committee will inform you until April 27, 2011 about the preliminary

program (Third announcement).

Information for participants:

The Conference will be held in the form of plenary sessions.Duration of reports is up to 15 minutes.

Conference languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Abstracts of one page without figures and references should be presented inMS Word97-2003 (file extension .doc or .rtf). File name - name of the speaker. Sheet - A4

(210x297 mm); paragraph 12.5 mm, margins: top, bottom, right - 20 mm, left - 30 mm, line

spacing 1.5.

Title of the report should be typed in capital letters centered on the page using the

Arial font, size - 14. Next, names and initials of authors should be typed using the Times New

Roman font, size 12, italic. The next line specifies the name of the organization, city, country,

using the Times New Roman font, size 12, italic. Leave one line. Main text should be printed

using the Times New Roman font, size 12.

Completed Registration Form and Abstract should be sent to the Organizing
