1. Pass a total of 60 ECTS:

B.Comm –50 obligatory + 10 optional credits

B.Comm International –55 obligatory + 5 optional credits

2. Pass mark is 40%

Progression to Final Year

B.Comm Students have to pass ALL modules in 2nd year

BEFORE they can progress to final year.

B.Comm. International students must pass ALL the

requirements of second year BEFORE they can

progress to the year abroad.

Progression to Final Year: Passing by Compensation

The Pass standard is 40% in each subject. However the year may be passed by

compensation provided:

- The aggregate mark for all modules of the year is at least 40%

- No mark is below 35%

- Not more than 15 ECTS have marks in range 35 – 39%

Note:

Where one or more of these conditions have not been met, each module with a

mark below 40% must be repeated. Marks of 40% and above are carried forward to the next session and are not repeatable.

Second Year Results will count towards your Degree average and grade:

The overall degree mark will be derived from

adding together:

30% of the Second Year marks +

70% of the Final Year aggregate marks.

• Internationalisation is now a key priority for the School of Business & Economics

• B. Comm. International Experience– Work placement + study abroad– Or study abroad for a full academic year (limited

availability)– In 2012/13 twenty successful students were selected to

transfer to the B. Comm. (International Experience) Degree. We are expanding places on this programme with a view to offering over 30 places in the next cycle.
