Level 1 parents and children will be gathering on Thursday December 10 at 6:30 p.m. Any families, whose children are currently in first grade and have not as yet registered their children for the first year of preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, are invited to contact the Faith Formation Office to do so. We are currently seeking adults who would be willing to assist us as door monitors during our class times. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact the Faith Formation Office.
We are trying our best to keep our children safe during the pandemic.
All classes meet with social distancing and masks.
Rosary: before the daily 9:30 Mass

KIOSK MINISTRY
As we begin our second week of Advent and light the second purple candle of your Advent wreath, let us all listen to the call of
our Lord to be still, to open our hearts and minds and find room for Him. Give Him room to be reborn in us this Christmas. If you haven’t seen or heard about our two children’s books, allow me to tell you about them. Paul McCusker, the author of the series, The Adventures of Nick & Sam, has written, as a part of the series, THE BEST ADVENT EVER. This is the book that start-ed our granddaughter, Kelsey, almost 8 years old at the time, to really enjoy reading. It’s not just a book about children and their family and school preparations for Christmas, but it brings in practices and history of our Catholic faith. The other book is THE STORY OF SAINT NICHOLAS, from the Brother Francis series. It’s a wonderful book to read to your child or grandchild. It shows the connection between Saint Nicholas and Santa. It’s the true story of a humble priest who showed God’s love through giving. The book has colorful pictures throughout to illustrate the story. It’s great to also discuss what’s happen-ing as you read the book in the selfless giving of this saint. Next week there will be more on the other cds for Advent and Christmas available on our kiosk: THE MYSTERY OF CHRISTMAS (Fr. Larry Richards), THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS (Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen), and GOD MADE MAN (Fr. Shannon Collins).
The Catholic Faith Network is available on:
Optimum channel 29/137
Verizon FiOS TV channel 296
Charter Spectrum channel 162//471
throughout the tri-state area.
The network broadcasts the
celebration of the Eucharist:
Daily Mass celebrated by Pope Francis
Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. & 9:30 p.m. ET
Saturday at 11 a.m. & 9:30 p.m. ET
Website Sponsorships Available!
In the weeks ahead, our parish representative from Solutio, Inc., will be setting up
the advertising for our website for the year.
Please consider participating in this effort since the revenue from the ads is what makes the
website possible at no cost to the parish.
It’s a great way to get your name in front of the
families in the parish. Advertisements may be purchased for a business, family memorial, or you can sponsor an ad supporting Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, Vocations, etc.
Please give these ideas some thought. We need and appreciate your help! If you
are interested or just curious as to prices and want more information, please contact (631) 400-3452 or
The annual Christmas
Pageant will have a differ-
ent “venue” this year be-
cause of the pandemic.
We are putting together a
slide show of the many years of the pageant — now almost TWENTY YEARS of mem-
ories.
Please send us your photos, especially
the first 10 years! We will put together a
video and share it on our
parish website!
