His mercy endures forever!By Father Dailon

This Sunday we are celebrating the Divine Mercy and we remember that God loves us with a pure and sincere love. God is always compassionate even though we failed Him. He forgives our sins and treats us as his children in need of his love. God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die for all of us. It was on the cross that the love of God had its greatest expression. Because it was on the cross that the Son of God shed his blood and gave his life to redeem us from sin. Many times in life we fail and realize that we are not as good as we think, it is in those moments when the Divine Mercy of God becomes more present. God never abandons us but loves us with infinite love. The truth is that our heavenly Father is the Creator of this feeling that He has placed in the hearts of us all. Similarly, God wants us to be merciful like Him. There is no time more propitious than these holy days of Easter when our brothers are suffering a general fear due to this pandemic. In these times we have to remember more than ever the words of Jesus that the greatest love that one can have is to give our lives for our friends. These times demand a merciful response from the heart of every Christian person because it is impossible to remain indifferent to the problems of others. My brothers and sisters, our Lord Jesus Christ continues to pour out his infinite mercy on those who come to Him with a repentant heart. Open your hearts to his Divine Mercy and look for that opportunity to help and love your neighbor. Happy Easter!

It is very sad to see what is happening down there on the earth. I am sure that the people that are here are happy to

be here in eternity and not have to worry about being infected or getting sick with that ugly virus. I can only say that you need to take care of yourself and take care of others. They say here that this is the time to forget about oneself and think of others. This means staying home and if you have to go out at all make sure you wear a mask and gloves so you are not infected and you don’t infect anyone. I know people already are very tired of being home for almost a month already but please understand

that this is the only way that the virus will stop otherwise it will continue to spread and this is what everyone needs to do to avoid the spreading of this miserable pandemic that is doing so much harm to so many people all over the world. So, the best advice from heaven is to stay home, stay put and don’t get infected and don’t infect anyone. This way, things will go back to normality and the world will continue its journey, which stopped a few months ago and of course it is not a pretty picture with all the things that are happening right now. So I invite you to obey what they tell you because it is for your own good. Stay healthy, stay safe, stay home. Ciao, woof, woof.

THANK GOD FOR TECHNOLOGYWe are very grateful to Almighty God for the tools of technology that allow us to be connected during these difficult times. It has been a great joy for Fr. Dailon and I to celebrate the Eucharist everyday and see how many people are connected for the celebration. This has been a great opportunity for all of us to come together as a parish family and strengthen one another through prayer and our faith. We will continue for as long as we need to because we feel that it is important for all of us to be connected with one another especially during these difficult times.

A DIFFERENT HOLY WEEKIt was indeed a very different Holy Week for us as I am sure it was for you also. The technological part was the most difficult because both Fr Dailon and I are not too much into technology. This they didn’t teach at the seminary and never mind how to do a Holy Week celebration through the media. But we tried our best and in the long run we think that it turned out to be very nice despite the way we had to do it. We again thank you if you participated and accompanied us during those precious days of Holy Week, which are so important for all of us Catholics.

We are very grateful to all those who continue to send the Church their contributions to the parish. I know it is very difficult because you too are having difficult times at home but we are grateful that you are thinking of us and helping us to pay our bills and keep the parish running in the midst of this panidemic. ¡La misericordia del Señor es eterna!

Por Padre Dailon Este domingo que celebramos la Divina Misericordia, recordamos que Dios nos ama

con un amor puro y sincero. Aunque le hayamos fallado, Dios siempre se compadece de nuestras miserias, perdona nuestros pecados y nos trata como hijos suyos necesitados de su amor. Dios nos ama tanto que envió a Su único Hijo a morir por todos nosotros. En la cruz fue donde el amor de Dios tuvo su expresión más grande. Porque fue en la cruz donde el Hijo de Dios derramó su sangre y entregó su vida para redimirnos del pecado. Muchas veces en la vida caemos y nos damos cuenta de que no somos tan buenos como pensamos, es en esos momentos cuando la Divina Misericordia de Dios se hace más presente. Dios nunca nos abandona, sino que nos ama con un amor infinito. La verdad es que nosotros no podríamos amar si no fuera por Dios. Nuestro Padre celestial es el Creador de este sentimiento que ha puesto en el corazón de todos nosotros. De igual modo, Dios quiere que nosotros también seamos misericordiosos. No hay momento más propicio que estos santos días de la Pascua que nuestros hermanos están sufriendo un miedo generalizado debido a esta pandemia. En estos tiempos tenemos que recordar más que nunca las palabras de Jesús que el amor más grande que uno puede tener es dar su vida por sus amigos. Estos tiempos exigen una respuesta misericordiosa del corazón de cada cristiano pues es imposible permanecer indiferentes ante los problemas de otros. Mis hermanos y hermanas, nuestro Señor Jesucristo sigue derramando su infinita misericordia sobre aquellos que acuden a Él con el corazón arrepentido. Abran sus corazones a su Divina Misericordia y busquen esa oportunidad para ayudar y amar a tu prójimo.

Memorias de TonyEs muy triste ver lo que está sucediendo allá en la tierra. Estoy seguro de que muchos están felices de estar aquí

en la eternidad, porque no tienen que preocuparse de ser infectados o enfermarse con ese virus feo. Solo te puedo decir que necesitas cuidar mucho de ti y de los demás. Dicen aquí que ahora es tiempo de olvidarnos de nosotros y de pensar en los demás, esto significa que te quedes en casa y no salgas y si lo tienes que hacer, y te asegures de llevar mascarilla y guantes. Sé que la gente está cansada de estar en casa por más de un mes pero entiende que

es la única forma de que el virus se deje de propagar, de lo contrario seguirá regándose y eso es lo que debes evitar, de que esta pandemia se haga aun más grande, porque sigue afectando a muchas personas en todo el mundo. Así que mi mejor consejo es que te quedes en casa, así todo volverá a la normalidad y el mundo seguirá su curso, que se interrumpió hace unos meses atrás con todo lo que está sucediendo ahora. Así que te invito a obedecer y haz caso en lo que te dicen porque es por tu bien. Mantente sano y salvo y quédate en casa. Chao, guau, guau.

GRACIAS A DIOS POR LA TECNOLOGÍAEstamos muy agradecidos con Dios todopoderoso por las herramientas de la tecnología que nos permiten conectarnos contigo durante este tiempo. Ha sido una alegría para el Padre Dailon y yo celebrar la eucaristía todos los días y ver que tantas personas son sintonizan y se unen a la transmisión. Ha sido una gran oportunidad para todos de unirnos como familia parroquial y fortalecernos unos a otros con la oración y nuestra fe. Seguiremos haciéndolo mientras sea necesario porque creemos que es importante para todos estar conectados unos con otros, en especial en estos momentos difíciles.

UNA SEMANA SANTA MUY DIFERENTESin duda tuvimos una Semana santa muy distinta para nosotros al igual que ustedes. La parte de la tecnología ha sido lo mas difícil porque los dos sacerdotes no somos muy ágiles para estas cosas. Esto no nos lo enseñaron en el seminario ni tampoco como celebrar una Semana santa así. Pero el caso es que tratamos de hacer lo mejor y pienso que a pesar de las dificultades todo salió bien. Nuevamente agradecemos a todos los que participaron y nos acompañaron durante esos hermosos días de la Semana mayor, tan importantes para todos nosotros los católicos.

GRACIAS POR TU APOYO ESPIRITUALY FINANCIERO

Estamos muy agradecidos con todos aquellos que siguen enviando a la iglesia su contribución a la parroquia. Sé que es difícil porque todos tenemos preocupaciones en casa pero nos sentimos agradecidos de que pienses en nosotros y nos ayudes a pagar las cuentas y mantener la parroquia operando en medio de la pandemia. Que el Señor resucitado bendiga tu generosidad y amabilidad con Dios y Su iglesia. Si necesitas algo de nosotros no dudes en llamarnos y ojalá podamos ayudarte lo mejor posible.
