SEA TURTLES Seas turtles are endangered .they have a shell that protects them from predators and variations in temperature. Sea turtles can live 150 to 200 years after its kind. They can reach 27 km / h to 35 km / h swimming in the sea. Sea turtles are reptiles and are Ectotherms animals, ie their body temperature is affected by environmental conditions. The sense of hearing is very acute. Sea turtles have a sense of direction very developed, which permit them to return to spawn to the same beach where they were born. At birth, the turtles can weigh 50 g, 2 kg in a year, at 3 years 20 kg and 300 kg in maturity (14 years). The man has killed turtles to take advantage of everything that is in it: meat, eggs, skin and shell.so there have been massacres of turtles and now most are endangered. Now, nesting beaches and national parks or protected reserves are preserved.
