PICK UP TRASHProperly dispose of any trash you bring to orfind on the beach. Plastic bags, balloons, andother debris may be mistaken as food by seaturtles. Excess fishing line can entangle anddrown sea turtles.
Each night remove beach furniture andrecreation items for nesting sea turtles. Seaturtles can’t back up and do not move easily onland. Obstacles can cause them to abandonnesting, become trapped or injured.

Do not disturb nests, markers, signs, or tracks.If you see a nesting sea turtle or hatchlings,stand still behind the sea turtle, stay out oftheir line of sight and observe quietly. Call*FWC to report the sighting. Do not useflashlights or flash photography.
